The sorting hat has tried it's best to put you in a group of people who share your interests. But it doesn't necessarily mean that the books of your fellow authors fall in the same category as yours. But we assure you that their books doesn't fall under the genre you refused to read or mentioned as your least favourite.
The grouping is permanent so that the authors can get permanent readers. Remember: Your aim on wattpad should be readers not the number of reads.
However if you aren't feeling comfortable with your group for some reason, you can request us to put you in a different group.
