They sit there, both on knees, both arms on each other's shoulders. Anakin's past was one not easily conquered. Years now and he still wishes to save his mother. Obi-wan looked down, eyes hollow and filled by the pain of crying. Anakin lifted his head up to the ceiling and hitched his breath, building up something. He returned to look at Obi-wan. Head down, Obi-wan let out a yell to calm himself, as he was shaking. Anakin yelled louder, his voice strained and torn. They made eye contact. Something they knew they had to do. They were broken. They relied on eachother.
Obi-wan screamed. everything letting loose, everything unraveling like a loose thread, down until there is nothing more to take apart and shred. Anakin let out a scream of the son of a theif, who sings the captive' s songs of woe in the cages, freeing them.
