(chapter 4) The aftermath

I started to run away from what happened all I could think about was Cole and his eyes. So many questions and emotions were just flooding threw me not knowing what to do I kept asking myself what should I do ,should I call the police, who do I tell ?! I was just so shocked and all I could do was cry. I stopped running and started to walk home I walked on the porch and started to walk into the house all I could here was Braxton yelling my name "Alli is that you "! I was so shocked it took me 1 minute to wiped away my tears from the pain and have to take a deep breathe to calm down."Yeah Brax Im here "! 

I came walking into the kitchen when I saw Braxton with a sprite in his hand waiting for the ingredients. His eyes widen from my bruises from the incident he dropped his can of sprite and ran towards me " Alli what happened to you "! I explained everything to him except for Cole . Braxton always freaks out if I talk about a boy he acts like dad. "Alli you need to be more careful Im gonna get you pepper spray and file a police report go upstairs and go take care of your bruises and scares. 

I went to my room and started to unpacked the groceries that I bought  I started to play " rockabye "on my phone I started cleaning my bruises and scares. I started to eat my candy and drink my strawberry soda until I heard a tap on my window and when I looked outside I realized it was Cole my heart started to pound I opened the window and Cole looked nervous " can we talk "?
