Chapter 17

“Ashton, time to get up”! Lauren said throwing a pillow at me again, I put the covers over me and said

“Lauren, it’s the weekend why are you waking me up at 9”?

“Harry’s got his first soccer match you coming or not”

“Give me 5 minutes”

“Whatever” Lauren left the room and I got up shutting the door and getting back into bed I was going to get up at some point but I just wanted to sleep. I felt a pillow being thrown at me and Lauren said “Get up now Ashton were leaving in 10 minutes”

“Alright I’m up” I got up putting on whatever I could find I grabbed my phone and went downstairs grabbing my shoes and running out to the car.

I was sitting with my sister and mum watching the game; no one has passed Harry the ball yet

“I don’t get why no one is passing the ball to Harry”? I said

“Well maybe his just not near the goal”

“Mum he was right near the goal and they could have passed it to him and they would final have a goal” Harry was right near the goal calling out to his team mates but they didn’t listen they tried to get the goal but it didn’t work, the whistle blew for half time and Harry ran over there and mum said

“You’re doing a great job honey”

“Thanks mum, I wished they passed the ball to me”

“They will honey” I rolled my eyes looking around and I saw Luke and his dad talking to each other maybe I should talk to Luke’s dad see if he can work things out

“I’ll be back” I got up and ran down towards Luke and his dad

“Sir”

“Hey Ashton how can I help you”

“Um sir I’m just saying that you need to speak to your team about being a team because my brother has been near an open goal 3 times and no one’s past the ball to him”

“Will do Ash”

“Thank you sir” the whistle blew and Harry was about to run past me and I said “Harry I promise you will be getting that soccer ball” Harry high fived me and they all had a chat I sat back down with mum and Lauren.

“Boo”! Someone said sitting next to me I looked beside me seeing Anna

“What are you doing here”?

“Well it’s a nice day and I wanted to do something so I thought why not hang out with Luke and Dad for the day” I heard a cough beside me I looked seeing mum and Lauren just sitting there “Oh Anna you’ve met my mum and this is my little sister Lauren” Anna smiled and said

“Nice to meet you both”

“Ashton’s told me a lot about you” mum said

“Yeah he won’t shut up about you” Lauren said

“Shut up Lauren” she just poked her  tongue out, I rolled my eyes typically brother and sister relationship

“Would you two stop” before mum finished Lauren said  

“Harry’s got the ball” mum and I looked at the field and saw Harry running with the ball. I smiled and started cheering for Harry

“Go Harry, go”! Harry ran past the other team and he was so close to the goal, he did a kick but after he did a kick he got tripped but he still had his eye on the ball and it went past the goalie and we all cheered for him but Harry was sitting on the ground I got up quickly and ran on the field to Harry
