(Star's pov)

Today has been great and we're finally home, but it was still early out and I convinced Jackie to stay with us for a little longer. Marco and I got to put our names on Brittney's gift which I still wasn't happy about going to a party of a girl who hates me, but a lot of people are going to be there and there was going to be food and a pool too.

"So who's ready for tomorrow?" Comet asks cheerfully

We just stayed quiet because if we'd answered we would've lie.

"Comet, we're going to enjoy the pool, eat food and talk to other people while avoiding, Brittney" I replied in slight irritation

"She looked desperate to invite you when you turned down her invitation" Jackie said in amusement

"I just didn't want to go without you guy's since I don't know her and her attitude really reminds me of Jenny" he said with crossed arms

"Ohhhh, I get it now" Marco said in understanding "you want us to go, because you want us to hold you back in case she does something and you don't blow stuff up at the party"

Jackie and I stared at Comet, in shock for now knowing the real reason why he wanted us to go.

"Just how bad did she treated you?" Jackie asked in shock

"Let's just say for all the name calling and insults, I wanted to grab my mom's wand and put her in a block of ice and leave her in a cave" he replied with a small glare

"Hey, you don't have to worry about her because she's in St. Olgas, and who knows maybe when she get's out she'll have a better attitude" I said before giving him a comforting hug

"Thanks, Star" he said kindly before hugging me

"Hey guy's I'm going to head home now" Jackie mentioned as she walked to the door

"It's almost dark out" Comet mentioned as he walked to the door "I'll walk you home"

I noticed a small pink blush appearing on Jackie's face before she left with Comet. I don't know why I'm pushing Jackie so much to be with my cousin. I don't know if it's because they both had horrible relationships in the past or because they could be happy with each other. Maybe I should back off a little and let them work it out, and besides we're still young and have time and speaking of having time I was going to enjoy mine.

(Jackie's pov)

It was really nice that Comet, offered to walk me home. I kept seeing the sky getting darker, and it was kinda nice. We were halfway to my house and we haven't said a word since we left and I kept getting a glimpse of his emerald green eyes from the corner of my eye while he starred at the sky. He looked so happy and calm as if his mind was somewhere else.

'He's so cute!' I thought to myself 'easy, Jackie. Don't think to many happy thoughts'

He turned his attention towards me and I turn my face foward hoping that he didn't saw me looking at him.

"Were you looking at me?" He asks with a raised eyebrow

"No!" I answered quickly

We finally reached my house and I was thankful that I got here before I did or said anything embarrassing.

"Thanks for walking me home, Comet" I said kindly

"It's not a problem, I'm sure things gets dangerous here at night just like in mewni" he said casually as he stared at the sky

I looked up at sky and it was beautiful since the sun was going down giving it a orange glow. Comet looked happy, but at the same time serious.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow at the party and I hope after that I don't see Brittney for a while" I mentioned in irritation
