"Wake up, ya lazy useless excuse for a brother!" My arm was yanked upward with a strong force by my sibling causing pain to shoot through my body but I just pulled it away from him. "Gee Boss, G'morning to you too." I mumbled and pulled the comforter over my skull while turning onto my side. Sleep was all I craved at the moment. Strange dreams of a skeleton who was identical to me invaded my slumber.
Tossing, turning, and waking up in a cold sweat was all I did last night.
My ribs were oddly sore but I didn't understand why.
Normally when these things happen, it is obvious there was a reset.
Problem was, the unfamiliar skeleton who was in my dream was the one who reset the timeline. Monsters don't have such power.
A loud dramatic sigh from Papyrus sliced through my thoughts as crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"We got work, idiot! There was an explosion is the forest and we have to check it out!" The younger informed causing me to roll my pinpricks.
"And may I politely ask, why I have to come?"
"You're the only dumbas...BUTT that knows more about SOULS than anyone else down here." I snickered at his correction causing him to scrunch his face up in disapproval before a soft red began to glow on his cheekbones. I could feel the heat coming off of them from where I laid.
The already permanent grin I possessed grew larger as I faced him. "Just get up!" He hollered before giving me a slight swat and marching down the stairs.
The questions from a minuet before began to occupy my mind once again as I stumbled to the mirror and sighed at my reflection. Here we go...
