We all continued to listen as we packed up our bags since the communications class at the college had just ended. I was doing part time running start, well both Hayes and I were doing part time running start. We rarely ever saw each other at the college since it was so big, we didn't even have the same classes.  The fact that we rarely saw each other made sense since there's about 17,000 people in this school.

Hayes and I saw each other in the morning because we would always carpool together. Our classes started and ended at the same time so its not like we never talked, plus we have 5th and 6th period together over at the high school. I sighed as I walked out of the class and walked up the hill to where Hayes car was parked. From the day that our classes at the college started we decided that we would always meet up where the car was parked.

I took the time to looked at my surroundings. I saw students rushing to get to their classes, some had stopped to chat with some of their friends, some were rushing to get into the office so that they could get their last minute issues figured out. People were driving out of the campus, I sighed and looked down at my phone. 12:09. What the hell is taking this boy so long? I know for a fact that his class wasn't that far from mine so I don't get why he isn't here yet.

I leaned on his car and started scrolling through my Facebook to pass by time. I kept on going through my timeline, liking posts and also refreshing my timeline ever few minutes until I heard the door unlock, I looked at the time again. 12:11. I opened the door setting my bag down and got into the car closing the door.

"Sorry for taking so long, I just had to ask my teacher some questions about this weeks homework." He said looking at me as soon as he got in the car. I smiled at him. "Its cool, just drive us to school before we're late boy." I said, he nodded starting the car and driving out of the campus. "What do you think of your classes so far?" He asked, I groaned. "I feel like dropping out, like I've never even thought about dropping out until this year." He chuckled at my response.

"I'm serious! French is kicking my ass yo, it makes me feel like crying! I mean I like my communications class a lot though." I continued, he smiled. "I can relate to that on a spiritual level, my phycology class is beating my ass too, I can't wait for next quarter I'm so done with my classes." He said, I nodded. "I dead ass thought that they were playing when they said that junior year is the hardest but they weren't playing. I don't even know how people got through it." I said.

"I mean we gotta stick to it, we've been going to school for like 13 years now. We can't just give up now, we've got to keep on grinding so that we can reach our goals." He said, I clapped my hands nodding at what he was saying. "Damn Hayes, I see you preachin! I see you." I said, he chuckled and shook his head. 

"I'm so hungry, I can't wait to eat some food." He said, I nodded. "Same yo! There barely ever anytime to eat." I replied. "We should hang out this weekend." He suggested, I nodded. "Yeah I'm down, we haven't hung out in a while." I said. "Sweet. Oh I also meant to tell you. You look that you look really beautiful." He said, I smiled looking down then looked back up at him. He glanced back at me sending me a quick smile before turning his attention back to the road. "Thank you! You also look really handsome." I said, he brushed his shoulders. "Ya know how I do it." He said, I playfully rolled my eyes. "You need to stop." I said, he chuckled. "I'm playing, thank you for the compliment." He replied, I nodded.

Once we got to the school, he parked the his car. We got out and walked towards our 5th period. The school was dead silent which made a lot of sense because everyone was already in their classes. There was the occasional 2-3 people who were either going to the office or to the bathroom. We continued to walk to our marketing class looking at all the different posters and fliers that people had put up. There was a bunch of information about the different clubs, the different sports teams and class projects. 

Once we reached the class we opened the door and walked in. A couple of people looked at our direction to see who was walking into the class so late. I looked at the clock which read 12:35. Hayes and I went to grab our laptops and sat down at our usual seats. We didn't sit next to each other in this class cause we were both working in different groups, plus we also wanted to work with our friends. I sat down next to Nick, Vivi and Elena were sitting straight across us. 

Elena and Vivi tilted their laptop screens down and looked at me. "So how have things between Hayes and you been?" Vivi asked, Nick tilted his screen and looked at me interested in the conversation that was taking place. I smiled at them and shrugged. "I mean things have been fine, we've been dropping hints that we're into each other and we've also kind of been flirting with each other." I admitted smiling. "For real?! that's a step up from last time." Vivi said, I nodded. "Do you think that you guys will make things official soon?" Elena asked, I shrugged. "I don't know. I hope so. Fingers crossed, I really like him guys. Like I feel hard y'all. I'm scared guys." I said playing with my fingers.

Elena reached out and held my hand. "Girl we know. We can tell by how you treat him, the way you look at him. We've also seen the way he treats and looks at you. He's hooked baby girl, he's not going anywhere. You guys have each others hearts in the palm of your hands, its just a matter of who makes the first move." She said. I smiled at her and look over at where Hayes was sitting, he looked over in my direction, smiled and winked at me. I giggled shaking my head and turned my attention back to my computer. I hope that Elena is right about this, I hope that she's not hyping anything up or that she's just telling me what I want to hear. Sometimes I hate the fact that it was so easy for me to catch feelings but I honestly couldn't help it.

Haay how are all of you guys doing?! You guys been good? Well I hope that you guys have been okay.
