Chapter thirteen

“Good morning babe. I don’t think sleeping is a good idea. I can’t see you when I’m asleep. Well I can but that’s a different story.” Sirius says seductively.

“Sirius shut up and tell me what did you do?” I ask him angrily.

“Well I sort of kind of invited the guys to come for breakfast. And well they’re on their way. Actually some of the guys are here.” Sirius says shyly.

“Why didn’t you tell me last night? Now I have to get up and get ready. Wait I work today. Today is Monday. Sirius you’re on your own.” I tell him, getting out of bed.

“Fine I guess I’m on my own.” Sirius says angrily.

“Don’t get angry at me. You know I have to work.” I remind him.

“What if you stay home and take care of tommy? Then when you go to school, we can figure something else out. And you wouldn’t have to pay for anything. I mean you get financial aid and you can work with bob at the shop during the summer and winter.” Sirius suggests.

“What?” I ask him.

“I’ve thinking about it and well I think it’s better if you just work with bob. I mean I start working with my dad next week. I just don’t want you to stress out when you go to school.” Sirius explains.

“I need money so I can pay for other things. And why would you help me. We aren’t married or anything like that. I’m not even living with you.” I remind him.

“Well that can be changed. Come live with me and then next summer we can get married. Or we can get married right now and then you can move in with me. How do you feel about adopting?” Sirius finally asks me.

“We’ll talk about this when I get home from work.” I tell him.

“What are you doing here?” I ask Sirius angrily.

“I decided to take tommy to lunch here. When is your shift done?” Sirius asks me.

“In a couple of minutes, now I want you to behave yourself. Tommy make sure your dad doesn’t do anything bad. I’ll be right back.” I tell tommy.

“I can’t believe you just did that!” I scream at Sirius. “Why in the world would you come to my job and embarrass me like that. I lost my job because of that. I can’t believe you. You’re such a little kid!” I yell at him.

“Well not for long. Let me tell you my reasons for my little act. I was talking to my dad and he said that I need a secretary. At first, I thought why would I need a secretary. Then an idea came to mind. You can be my secretary. I mean you’re already sleeping with me. And I mean that in both ways. You wouldn’t have to do much but answer emails, call people and come with me to meetings.” Sirius says proudly.

“You’re an idiot. What are the workers going to think?” I ask him.

“I have the answer to that as well. It doesn’t matter what they think because we won’t be in the office. We’ll be working from home. And plus I already told my dad and he agreed with me.” Sirius tells me.

“I have no clue what to do.” I tell him. “I do want a job like that but then at the same time I want to work for my money.” I tell him.

“Look babe it’s just for now. When you get your degree, you can quit and be a teacher, or whenever you can’t work just quit and just study. I just want it’s best for you.” Sirius says sincerely.

“Fine you win again but I’m still mad at you.” I remind him.

“That’s fine with me.” Sirius says.

“Zane, what are you doing here?” I ask my brother.

“I have some bad news to tell the two of you.” My brother tells us. “The guy that raped you is out to get you again. He sent a letter to the old apartment. It wasn’t a pretty letter and well the jest of it is he knows you and Sirius are together and he’s going to make your life a living hell.” My brother tells us.

“What?” I say confused. “That can’t be. I do not want him near me. Can’t you arrest him?” I tell my brother scared.

“We don’t know where he is. He sent someone to put the letter in the mailbox. The police have the letter and they sent it to the FBI. The FBI hasn’t found anything.” My brother tells me.

“I’m not going to let him hurt her. He better be ready for a war.” Sirius says angrily. “I’m going to kill him.” Sirius warns my brother.

“You can’t do anything until he makes a move first.” My brother reminds Sirius.

“He did make the first move.” Sirius reminds my brother.

“I want to go to sleep.” I tell them both.

“Alright let’s take a nap.” Sirius tells me.

“okay.” I respond.

“Are you feeling better?” Sirius ask me.

“I thought I was but I can’t stop thinking about it. I keep remembering what happened that night.” I tell Sirius.

“Look I’m not going to let him get anywhere near you. He’s going to be dead before gets near you.” Sirius reminds me.

“Hold me.” I order him.

“Come here,” he tells me. “You need to gain more weight.” Sirius says playfully.

“Shut up.” I say playfully.

“I love you.” Sirius tells me.

“I love you too.” I say back.

“Tommy come sit down and watch some TV with me.” I tell tommy. “Tommy, come here now!” I order tommy.

“mommy.” Tommy says scared.

“I’m sorry but you need to listen to me. When I tell you to do something, you listen to me. Now come here and watch some TV.” I tell him nicely.

“Mommy, I love you.” Tommy says to me.

“I love you too.” I tell him back.

“Alright babe it’s time to sleep.” Sirius tells me.

“I am sleeping.” I respond back.

“I know you are but you need to get to our bed. Here I’ll carry you.” Sirius says to me.

“Okay but I am sleeping.” I tell him again.

“hahaha” Sirius laughs.

“I love your laugh.” I admit to him.

“And I love you.” Sirius says back. “Good night my little queen.” Sirius says to me.
