Chrysalis couldn't stand it. She sighed as the rain poured. Her wings were no use anymore, so they withered away as the sun hit them from before. She went to the cliff, saying her final words. "Why did it have to be like this? Did I deserve it? Heh... then, I guess I deserve this too.". She then fell from the cliff, awaiting the raging river below. As single tear fell as she saw flashbacks of her life. How many mistakes she made. Once she fell, she let herself drown, so she could be free from... everything. As her consciousness faded, she felt someone grab her from the water, putting her on the soft grass miles away from where she fell. She barely opened her eyes, but she felt someone hold her. The being carried her with the wind blowing on her face. The last thing she remembered was someone saying, "Shhhhh... don't you fret. You're going to be fine. I promise, My Queen.".
