it's amazing

how everything can

change within a time

period as little as a few months.

i'd never expect to work together

with a former-failing violinist,

or receive an award for best duet

with that same former-failing violinist,

or even become that same blonde violinist's

girlfriend.

it's a shock for me: how everything

happened so quickly.

everything's changed:

yoongi quit hanging out with

his gang and worked harder in school,

the culprits got caught and sentenced

to jail,

my blonde violinist is no longer

blonde anymore—his hair color's changed.

to a light ash-grey.

i like it. a lot, actually.

"sola?" he asks me as i'm lost

in thought.

"yeah?" i blink.

"you look a little distracted."

i shake my head, smiling to reassure him.

"just thinking about everything."

hearing this, taehyung breaks out with

his boxy grin.

"alright. if you're fine, i'm fine, too.

wanna go get some udon to eat?"

i immediately nod my head,

never wanting to miss an outing

with him.

i stand up from my chair,

dusting my clothes,

and walk alongside him

with his hands clasped

together with mine.

now i can answer that question

i've always asked myself

at the beginning of it all.

what's a pianist

got to do with a violinist?

little did i know,

i would have everything

to do

with a violinist.

fin.
