~Dream~

I'm in a dark room, I'm running from something. I don't know what.

I hear.... screaming.... yelling..... crying?...... 'hello', I hear a voice right beside my ear say. I was scared, very scared, scared to the point where I can't talk or move. 'Don't be afrade of me, a lot of people are. People think I'm a monster, a demon...... but I don't wanna be the bad guy. So when you wake up, let Mark help'.

~end of dream~

I sat up with a big jolt, I am wondering what in the world I just dreamed. Huh, must be my imagination. I say in my mind, "Oh! Good, your awake!". A kinda deep voice says. My vision is still blurry, my head hurts, and my arms hurt from being punched. "H-hi". I say shyly. "Hi, it's okay you don't have to be afrade of me". The voice says, "oh okay, thanks uh...." I say trying to remember his name, "you can call me Mark". Mark said, "oh okay, hi Mark. Um, one question where am I?". I ask, "oh, you are still at the orphanage". He says, I start to feel tears begin to form. (Btw this is kinda gonna be a backstory chapter). I start letting the tears fall down my face, then at my side I feel something sit beside me. I look over and it's Mark.... he's singing?...

Where is the moment when we needed the most?

You kick up the leaves, and the magic is lost

They tell me your blue sky's faded to gray

They tell me your passion's gone away

And I don't need no carrying on

Stand in the line just to hit a new low

You're faking a smile with the coffee to go

You tell me your life's been way off line

You're falling to pieces every time

And I don't need no carrying on

'Cause you had a bad day

You're taking one down

You sing a sad song just to turn it around

You say you don't know

You tell me don't lie

You work at a smile, and you go for a ride

You had a bad day

The camera don't lie

You're coming back down, and you really don't mind

You had a bad day

You had a bad day

Well you need a blue sky holiday

The point is they laugh at what you say

And I don't need no carrying on

You had a bad day

You're taking one down

You sing a sad song just to turn it around

You say you don't know

You tell me don't lie

You work at a smile, and you go for a ride

You had a bad day

The camera don't lie

You're coming back down and you really don't mind

You had a bad day

Sometimes the system goes on the blink, and the whole thing it turns out

Wrong

You might not make it back and you know that you could be well, oh, that

Strong

And I'm not wrong

So where is the passion when you need it the most?

Oh, you and I

You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

'Cause you had a bad day

You're taking one down

You sing a sad song just to turn it around

You say you don't know

You tell me don't lie

You work at a smile and you go for a ride

You had a bad day

You see what you like

And how does it feel one more time?

You had a bad day

You had a bad day (had a bad day, had a bad day, had a bad day)

I look at him, "it's okay to be sad. I'm gonna adopt you okay? I can't stand the fact that you are here in this hellhole". He says. I look at him with a shocked expression "really?!". I say. "Yep!" He says, I look at him, he looks at me, "uh, can I tell you something?". I asked. "Of course you can". He says, looking at me with his chocolate brown eyes. "Um... the reason I'm in this hellhole in the first place is because, my mom died in a car accident. And my dad started hurting me, he then knocked me out and.... brought me here. The first day I was bullied, knocked to the ground. Not like the people that run this orphanage cared about me. They didn't". I say tears spilling out my eyes. "Well I'll make sure that I will be a helping hand".
