Mika and Yuu went upstairs to Mika's bedroom...They changed into their pyjamas and Yuu lied down first

"Mika are you coming?"

"yeah I just have to brush my teeth first. Yuu-chan should too if he doesn't want his teeth falling off"

"Yeah as if...wait I thought vampires don't need to brush their teeth?"

"old habits never die I guess" replied Mika with a clearly fake smile

The tension from the meeting hadn't died out yet but Mika was glad Yuu didn't mention it again

After brushing his teeth Mika lied next to Yuu, resting his head on Yuu's chest which was surprisingly more firm than Mika expected but comfortable anyway...was Yuu always this fit? Mika hadn't seen his body for years but from what he could feel at the moment Yuu hadn't skipped his workouts
Mika chuckled, Yuu-chan certainly did take his revenge seriously...revenge for him

"what is it?" asked Yuu who heard Mika chuckle

"oh it's nothing" replied Mika reassuringly

they stayed there in comfortable silence enjoying each other's company and warmth -well, Mika did as vampires don't have body heat but it was still nice. They hadn't spent time together like this for a long time and they both loved it.
The first to break the silence was Mika who decided to thank Yuu-chan for all he did for him- he never really got the chance to

"Yuu-chan..."

"Yes Mika?" asked Yuu while running his hand through Mika's hair

"I...I want to thank you...for everything...for respecting my decisions, for not hating me as a vampire, for giving me your blood although you never had to, for always being here for me...thank you Yuu-chan"

"Mika...how could I ever hate you? Even if I wanted to I can't and stop being stupid of course I'd give my family my blood! Plus you don't have to thank me idiot..." said Yuu slightly annoyed but blushing

"If someone should be thankful here that'd be me you saved me countless times already" Yuu added, "after you died I was devastated"

"Aw you even wanted to get revenge for me, Yuu-chan's so cute~" Mika teased Yuu

"Shut up I'm not cute"

"Yuu-chan is~!"

"I. am. not."

"hahaha~" Mika was finally genuinely laughing which made Yuu really happy although he was just called cute which he was NOT

"This is just like old times huh?" asked Yuu

"nearly" smiled Mika, then his expression changed to a distressed one, "mm Yuu-chan I'm sleepy let's go to sleeeeppp"

Mika then adjusted himself on Yuu's chest and closed his eyes...he felt safe and warm there and he couldn't be happier..actually this is the happiest he's been in a long time.

"goodnight Yuu-chan"
sleep was not late to embrace him

"Mika" said Yuu, "I know you don't want to talk about it but..i just wanted to ask...is it my fault you are leaving?"

no reply

"Mika?"

still no reply

"are you asleep?"

silence again

"I'll take that as a yes..." said Yuu disappointed that Mika fell asleep so fast

"I never want you to leave my side...no one could ever replace you because..because you are special to me -so please- stay with me" Yuu whispered

"I love you Mika..." he confessed and gave Mika a kiss on the forehead

"goodnight then"

Ok this chapter is pretty short but I liked the way it ended so I decided to end it here sorry 😂 it's like 1/4 or even less than the previous chapter but...I'll probably post one more chapter today!!
