UA Exam

Time skip 10 months

In those ten months, Izuku trained a lot. His body ached, he had constant headaches, and many times he nearly permanently turned into an animal. But it was all worth it, he can now do partial transformation and he can also predict an enemy's movements but he still can't find a enemy's weak spot.

As Midoriya was making his way to the entrance, Kacchan walked behind him

"Outta my way Deku!" He shouted

"K-Kacchan!?" Deku exclaimed

"Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill you." Kacchan warned 

Deku panicked

"M-Morning.L-Lets both do our best..." He cried, his arms flinging out of control everywhere.

As Kacchan walked away, Deku started to calm down.

"Hey, isn't that Bakugo? The one with the sludge villain?" One student asks

"Oh, he's the real thing!" Another student answers

Deku wakes up from his panic attack and tells himself he's different from before.

"Remember these past ten months!" He tells himself

"Take the first step..."

"...To being a hero!" 

Deku may be taking his very first step to becoming a hero, but he is also taking his very first step to becoming a laughing stock if he continues dreaming and not looking where he's going.

Deku trips over himself and as if in slow motion, he falls face first onto the ground.

Except he doesn't. 

A girl freezes Deku in mid air before his face and the floor could meet.

"Are you alright?" She asks  

Deku panics, realising that he no longer wants to remain frozen in the air any longer. And the girl puts him back onto the ground. 

"It's my quirk. Sorry for using it without asking first." The girl says politely while smiling and putting her hands together. 

"But it'd be bad luck if you fell, right?" She asks

"Aren't you nervous?" She teases

Deku gasps and panics for a second.

"Lets do our best. See ya!" The girl says and then walks away.

Deku is speechless.

"I talked to a girl!" He shouts with excitement 

Even though, he didn't really talk to the girl, she talked to him. But lets not destroy his happiness just yet.

*Some Time Later*

"For all you examinee listeners tuning in, welcome to my show today! Everybody say hey!" Present Mic yells

Silence. 

"What a refined response." He remarks

"Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam!"

"Are you ready?!"

"Yeah!!" He answers himself

Silence. Again.
