Thomas looked up at me in surprise when he saw I was out of my room.

"Y-you're-" he stuttered. I smiled at him weakly before sitting on a chair.

He moved over and sat next to me.

"Are you doing okay?" He asked.

"Not really," I said softly, tears pricking my eyes. Stupid emotions.

He pulled me into a hug and held me against his chest.

"Sh, it's gonna be okay, maybe not today, or tomorrow, but it will, someday. I promise." He said gently, running his fingers through my hair.

"How do you know?" I sniffed.

"I just do," he said, kissing the top of my had. "You wanna watch a movie and easy unhealthy food?" He asked, pulling away a bit to see my face.

"You know the way to a girl's heart," I laughed slightly, looking up at him briefly before letting my gaze fall back down.

'Ugh, this is horrible. Whatever, I started this, I'm going to finish it, no matter how long it takes.'
