The pale white dragon flew out of the tunnel leading up to the sky.He spread his wings and flew,not far off the ground though,because he was still a hatchling.
Not long passed before the pale dragon saw a creature he'd never seen before a crow the dragon flew down to the limping creatures side.her eyes opened wide"what kind of a creature is this?" She thought as the dragon tilted his head in curiosity,the dragon was the same size as the crow,if not a bit bigger,but the crow Cradline knew she was looking into the innocent tender eyes of a baby."What are you doing here all alone?" She asked. The pale silvery white dragon only Squawked,trying to find his voice."I am Cradline"She said sweetly to the chick"I lost my babies"She said,head down in shame"Did you lose your parents?"she asked
"I"the dragon started"Don't know"He said in a fragile voice"Where did you come from?"Cradline asked the lone baby dragon"An egg. In a cave. A magic cave.I was laid Thousands of years ago.but only hatched today when I was touched by your wing. The magic is old and...Cradlines didn't exist before, so the magic must have mistakened you for a dragon.I was only ment to hatch if another dragon touched me,meaning someone would be there to care for me" the dragon said in a small voice
Cradline looked around,seeing that this dragon was the only one left. Her heart sunk at the thought that this poor baby was alone"You can stay with me.I am a Crow"She said. He made a small squeak in reply.
"What will I name you?"Cradline said
"Your silvery white" She tilted her head"Your the only one left" she thought hard for a name
"Argenteum unum et"She finally said
"meaning; the silver one" the young dragon nodded his approval"Or just Unus for short"Cradline felt a strong love for the young dragon,after losing her chicks,she felt she had a purpose again."protect the last dragon" She thought determinedly
