Bughead Oneshots ~request open~

~ SOS ~

She should've taken the main route, but no Betty wanted to take the scenic route that weaved between the trees along sweet water. She should have known something was wrong when that Chevrolet Impala turned down that same back road as her, but she kept going. She should have texted Jughead when she saw that the driver was wearing something to cover his face.

He pulled up beside her, yelling a muffled " this is for Clifford" before he ran her off the road.

Betty panicked as her car veered and she suddenly started rolling of the road. Her head slams into the window, breaking her skin and the glass. The seatbelt cutting into her torso as she's thrown around in her seat.  She feels her door bend in medal cutting and trapping her leg in between  the door and her seat. The car stops quickly as the passenger side door rams into a tree stopping the vehicle from rolling any farther. Now she's here, the door jamed, her leg stuck. She begins to panic as she realizes there's no way out. She sees her reflection in the cracked rear view mirror. Blood trickles from a group of lacerations form where her head slammed into the window, little shards of glass still in some of the cuts. Betty looks down at herself. She unbuckles her seat belt and grimaces as the tightness is removed from her torso. She slowly lifts up her shirt to see a angry deep purple bruise forming a long her torso from the seatbelt, the same kind of bruise also forms on her collar bone. She looks at her leg which was stuck. She can't see much but what she can see is blood.

" ohh god" she cries breathlessly. Suddenly she hears a buzzing. Betty looks at the ground in front of the passenger seat to see her phone, Jughead is calling her. Betty leans over, crying as she feels the strain on her bruised ribs and leg. She grabs the phone and answers.

" hey Betty-"

" Juggy?" She whispers into the phone. She hears Jughead take a sharp breath in. Betty elbows the door, trying desperately to get the door open as the panic sinks in.

" Betty, what's wrong, where are you?" He asks rapidly into the phone.

" I- I don't know, I got driven off the rod near sweet water and rolled into a ditch, I can't get the door open ,Jughead please help me" she pleads on the phone. She can hear him moving through the phone.

" ok, Betty I'm on my way, just stay calm I'm coming to get you. I'm right" the phone cuts out. Her phone is dead. Betty sighs and drops her phone into her lap. The pain she feels is unbearable. Tears fall freely from her eyes as she claws at the door.

A few excruciatingly slow minutes later she hears a motorcycle engine.

" Jughead?" She yells, her voice layered with pain and fear. She sees her savior jog down into the ditch and up to her door.

" betty- oh god are you ok?" He ask taking her face in his hands through the window. He turns her head examining the injury on the side of her face.

" the doors stuck, just get me out of here please" she says pushing weekly on the door; tears rolling down her face. Jughead looks at here, fear in his eyes. He grabs the handle and pulls on the door. He groans when the door doesn't budge.

" Jughead please" she cries pushing on the door.

" shhh it's ok" he says, placing a boot on the car, yanking on the handle again with all his might. The door fly's open with a bang. Betty cries out as the medal separates from her leg. Jughead immediately goes to his knees next to the car, looking her over.

" you ok now, I got you" he says kissing the top of her head. She continues to cry.

" its ok, I called an ambulance on the way here, your gonna be ok."

" I wanna get outa here" she says weakly, grabbing into his arm trying to get out. He grabs her elbows, letting her lean on him while she slowly steps out of the car. Betty cries harder at the feeling of her bruises, and her leg.

" here, sit down" Jughead whispers to her, setting her slowly on the grown, her leaning against the car.

" I'm gonna find who did this and I swear I'm gonna kill them" he says rubbing her arm softly. And that's how they stayed until the ambulance arrived.
