Niall's POV

Rikki was at work and she was working late today and our 14 year old daughter Kaya came back from school about an hour ago. I was on my way home from the studio, I told Kaya that she can have some friends over so she isn't on her own.

"Kaya?" I said as I entered the house.
I got no reply.
I walked upstairs I could hear Kaya and two of her friends talking.

"Kaya I'm home" I said opening the door.
I instantly became angry.
The sight I saw was my daughter smoking with two of her friends. The room stunk of smoke.

"Dad...I..uh..I can explain!" Kaya said going pale.
"Go home" I told her friends who nodded and quickly left the house.

"What the fuck do you think your doing!" I yelled.
Kaya stayed silent.

I slapped her and tears escaped her eyes.
"You are 14 Kaya! Me and your mum have raised you to make the right choices! And the right choice definitely isn't Smoking! You will never touch a cigarette again and if you do your punishment will be far worse! Now give me your phone , laptop , iPad and your grounded for a month!" I shouted.

"I'm sorry dad" she cried as she passed me her laptop, I pad and phone.
I just shook my head and left her room.

"I'm home!" Rikki yelled as she entered the house.
"Hey love" I said pecking her lips.
"Where's Kaya?" She asked.
"She's upstairs, she's grounded for a month and she isn't having these back for a while" I said gesturing to her phone, I pad and laptop.
"Why? What has she done? It can't be that bad" Rikki said.

"I came home and caught her smoking in her bedroom with her friends" I sighed. Rikki gasped.
"Kaya? Smoking?" She asked and I nodded.
"I didn't want to believe it either " I said.
