Niall Horan Child Preferences 3

#65 This Morning

Today Niall and I have an interview on this morning about our newborn daughter, Aaliyah, who is now 4 weeks old.

We were sat on the sofa with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Niall was holding Aaliyah.

"So first of all congratulations to you both on the birth of your gorgeous daughter!" Holly said.
"Thank you" we said.
"From what I've heard, you had a horrible labour?" Phill asked.
I nodded.
"Yes it was horrible, it was 19 hours I was in labour for and when they first gave me the epidural there was problems with it so I had to wait a few more hours for another one" I explained.
"It looked very painful" Niall added.
"It was! I'll never forget the pain" I said.
"Obviously the pain was worth it because you got your beautiful daughter" Holly said and we both nodded.
"But Niall , What does this mean for One Direction? Liam and Louis had their babies in the break but for you the band is still going and making albums" Holly said.
"Well management are giving me around two months off to spend time with these two and then after the two months I'll go and record my parts of the album and then I'm not sure about touring since none of that has been sorted, but we probably will your just with a lot more breaks to come home" He explained.

Aaliyah started to move a little and she opened her eyes and put her hands in a fish, holding onto Niall's shirt.
"Hey baby" he muttered in a baby voice.

"Do you want to hold her?" Niall asked Holly.
"Yes please!" Holly said eagerly.
Niall carefully passed Aaliyah over to her. Her little blue eyes wandered the room and looked up at Holly.

"Hello cutie" She said in a baby voice.
"Oh my she's beautiful" Holly said and we smiled.
"She looks so much like you!" Holly told Niall surprised.

"So how are you both adjusting to being parents?" Phill asked.
"Good, I'm the first week Niall woke up with her at night and did most things because I  was obviously exhausted but now we split everything and take turns" I explained.

"What is she going to be? A mummy's girl or a daddy's girl?" He asked.
I was about to speak but Niall quickly interrupted me.
"A daddy's girl! 100%" He said quickly making us all chuckle.

"So how did the parents and family take it when you told them about the pregnancy?" Holly asked.

"They took it really well, especially my family. My mum started crying, my dad was just like 'it better be a girl, u could do with a granddaughter' and then my brother was making lots of very sexual jokes which was quite embarrassing and all my extended family were happy to have another family member" Niall explained.

"How did you two react when you found out it was a girl? Because didn't you have a gender Reveal?"  Phill asked and we nodded.
"Niall's mum, Maura, organised the Reveal, at the appointment the doctor wrote the gender on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope which we gave to Maura" I explained.
"When we found out it was a girl, I was really happy, I don't know about y/n but I was ecstatic, I nearly cried. Since being quite young I have imagined what it would e like to have my own hold and I've always wanted to have a daughter first and that has come true" Niall explained
