#117 Bonfire Night

Your POV

Today was bonfire night and me, Niall, Greg, Denise and Niall's parents have all bought a lot of fireworks so we are all going to go to Niall's parents house and do the fireworks in the back garden.

"Y/n are you and Amelia ready to go?" Niall shouted upstairs.
"Yeah I'm just putting her coat on her" I said as I helped my 4 year old daughter put her coat on.

Once we were ready we walked downstairs and Niall was waiting with our 11 month old son, Ethan.
"He looks so warm and cosy!" I coped as I saw Ethan in his coat, hat , gloves and scarf.
Niall chuckled and passed Ethan to me.
"You need  your hat, gloves and scarf princess" Niall told Amelia as he put her hat on her head. He then helped her put her scarf and gloves on.

"Be careful Niall, I don't want you getting hurt" Maura said as Niall walked over to set a firework off.
Maura was holding Ethan, Amelia was stood next to me with Theo and Greg and Denise were stood by Bobby.

"I'm not 5 mum, i think I know how to set a firework off" Niall retorted as he put the firework in place.
"I don't care, I still don't want my little boy getting hurt" Maura said.
Niall lit the firework and walked back to us.
"I'm 26, in hardly little" He said just before the firework set off.

The firework flew into the air and exploded leading to a beautiful pink colour.

"Wow! It's pink!" Amelia giggled.

Once the fireworks had all been set off , Niall, Greg and Bobby began the bonfire.

"Are we putting petrol over it or not?" Bobby asked.
"We have some" Greg said.
"Yeah, lets do it" Niall said.

Bobby got the petrol and put it all over the large pile of wood.

Everyone stood back and Niall stood a little closer. Niall lit a piece of wood on fire and threw it on to the wood pile which immediately went up in flames.

"Daddy I'm cold" Amelia complained.
"Do you want me to take you closer to the fire?" Niall asked her. We all decided that the kids have to stay a certain distance from the fire and if they want to go closer one of us will take them.
She nodded and Niall picked her up taking her over and standing closer to the fire.

"That's better! I'm warm now" she said.
"Do we have sparklers daddy?" Amelia asked.
"Yeah we do, wanna use them now?" Niall asked and she nodded.

Niall came back to us and put Amelia down.

He made sure Theo, Amelia and Ethan all had gloves on.
He lit one sparkler and gave it to Theo. Lit another and gave it to Amelia and lit the last one giving it to Ethan and I put my hand over Ethan's hand so he didn't hurt himself or anyone else.

He giggled loudly at the brightness of the sparkles.
