Now, it's our first anniversary and Nixon decide to celebrate it on his condo. He said that he'll cook for me. Because we're not seeing each other everyday. He got work and I've got mine. So that what we did. When I arrive at his condo I open it using the key he gave me so I can go to his condo anytime I want. When I enter I smell something delicious that why I went directly to the kitchen.

I hug him at the back "It smells delicious babe" He's shock but then he recovers. He turns around and face me. "Happy anniversary! I missed you babe" then he kiss me.

"I miss you too and happy anniversary" I said "so, what did you cook for me?" I added. "Of course, I cooked your favorite, sinigang" the he smiles from ear to ear. "Uhmmm. Babe can you get my phone on my bed room, on my bedside table?" He asks "Sure" I respond. "Thank you! I'll wait for you here." He grins and I nodded.

This is my first time to enter his room. When I open his room it's neat and organize. He really is a minimalist. But he has a king size bed. Then I got near to his bed I saw a bouquet of tulips and a dress with a note:

I went to his rest room to change my dress. When I looked at the mirror it fits perfectly and the color beige really suit my skin color. I love it. I scan his room and I stop at some pictures I have my pictures there and some pictures that we're together. I smile, then I spotted someone familiar. I get close to it then I'm sure! I can't be wrong. My hand is trembling when I hold the picture it almost fell on the ground. This man, this man is the reason why our business went bankrupt then dad commit suicide and then my mom. I cried then after that I fixed myself, get his phone and went to the kitchen. I force myself to smile.

"Thank you, babe. I love it!" I said with excitement. He looked at me "I know it will look good in you! You're gorgeous!" he comments.

"thank you!" I reply. "Common! Let's eat!" he serves the food he cooked. He's waiting for my reaction when I eat it. Then I smile. "It tastes wonderful!" it really is. I didn't expect him to cook this good. He exhales "thank God! I thought it would taste bad" he said.

"Actually I'm surprised that you cook so good!" I noticed!

"Of course! I live alone for how many years. I should learn how to do this myself, right?" He said and I nodded. Then we just talk about our days without each other. I still smile and continue our usual conversation. Even after we eat. I still feel something I can't explain. I'm scared to know the truth. That what if its's true? What if I can't handle it? It will break me for sure. I love Nix so much. What should I do?

When we were at the living room watching movie, I speak "Nix, I saw some of our pictures at your bedroom there's also another picture is that your parents?" I ask pretending that I'm curious. Well, I really am. He faced me and answers "YES" at that moment my world crumble.

"They are in the States until now. Well I told them about you and they can't wait to meet you" he smiles from ear to ear. I just force a smile. I almost cry! My God Teylie! Stop it! Nixon will notice it!

"Hey! Are you crying? Are you okay?" He asks. I can see in his eyes that his worried.

"No, I'm just tired. I just want to rest. I'm sorry." I smile apologetically.
