Being Hunted

Lucy POV

Once we got in the tunnel and slid down the long slide. We finally reached the end.

" Oh my Mavis hurry," Levi said as she ran towards the red arrows.

We all ran down the corridor as we all followed the red arrows.

We ran for 15 minutes until we reached the pink backpacks.

" There are the backpacks," said Yukino as as she grabbed one

I grabbed mine as well and looked inside it. Inside was a purifying water bottle, some flares, a flashlight, a communication lacrima, a blanket, matches, and not but not least a few bags of food.

I closed the bag and put the backpack on. It was surprisingly light.

I looked around and all the girls looked ready.

Levy nodded and instead of running she started walking.

" I believe we should be fine at this point so we should save our energy," Levy said

Kagura nodded in agreement

" You should call the others," I said

" Great thinking Lu-chan," Levi said as she got her lacrima ready. She called Erza

" Hey Erza we just got the backpacks what your status," Asked Levy

" Hey Levy we got our bags 5 min ago so we are a little up ahead. As well Juvia and her team got there bags 2 min ago before you called so we are all in the same pace right now," Erza said

" Okay when you get to the hideout call us," Levy said

" Rodger," Said Erza as she ended the call

" So Levy-chan are you happy that a certain slayer is your mate," I said as I chuckled

She blushed

" Well what about I bet your jumping with joy since you and Nastu have had sexual tension ever since you walked in the guild and I know you secretly write fan fiction of you and Natsu together," Levy said

I blushed heavily," Your just gonna expose me like that," I said I tried to hid my blush

Suddenly there was a loud rumble then a roar.

" Oh Shizzles they must be near pick up the pace," Said Kagura as she started running

We all started to run as we made twist and turns.

" I CAN SEE THE LIGHT," Yukino said

" I bet that not the only light you want to see," I said

Kagura started laughing

We finally made it out of the tunnel and we came across a meadow. On a tree there was a piece of paper. Kagura went to it and ripped it off the tree.

" Congratulations you made to your escape. To meet with the other walk up north until you reach a big oak tree. Then make a left at the oak tree from there you will walk starlight until you com across a blue rose bush and inside the bush there is a chest with a key and a map which shows the stronghold you will be staying at," Kagura read from the note.

" This feel like a scavenger hunt," I said as we followed Levy who pulled out a compass

" I will call the others," I said as I got my lacrima out and called Erza

"Hey Erza we made it out and are currently following the directions to find the key," I said

" Really that is great so are we as well as Juvia we should hopefully meet each other up by nightfall," She said

I was about to respond when all of a sudden I see something flying in the distance.

My eyes widened

" Well Erza You better start running because it seems that your group is about to have some trouble," I said

" What do you mean," She responded

" Well it seems Red will know who her mate is,"I said

" RUN START RUNNING," I here Ezra yell

' Thanks Lucy we will see you at the place," She said as she hung up

" Maybe that is a sign we also start moving faster," Yukino said

" Why," I said

" Because if Red mate is near that is bound to mean the others will come soon," She said

" And is it me or is that smoke over there," Kagura said

I looked behind me and squinted

" That is defiantly smoke which means that Lucy's lover boy is close so we better start to hurry.If he is close so is the others and the other two can travel as fast as light and shadows so we should really start going," Levy said as she increased her pace.
