I was running through the entrance of SU because I'm already late. The guard greeted me and I just smile. "Ms. Salvador" It was Ms. Kelly, our dean.
Nakipagbeso ako sakanya. "How's vacation?" she asked.
"Fine. Did the visitors already came?" I asked. She nodded. Napasapo ako sa noo ko. Bakit ba kasi tinapos ko pa ang librong binabasa ko kagabi?. We are headed our way to the gym where the Montefalco's are waiting for us.
Narating namin ang gym. Then I saw two boys turning back to us as they keep talking in front of them. "Mr. and Ms. Montefalco, Ms. Salvador is here" Ms. Kelly said. Dahan-dahang bumaling sa akin ang dalawa. Namilog ang mga mata ko ng makita ang lalaking humablot ng libro ko kahapon.
"Oh Shit!" bulalas ko. "I'm sorry about that. Welcome to SU" I said it again.
The arrogant guy laughed on me. But it seems his brother is so familiar. "Have we met?" sabay na tanong namin nung kapatid niya.
"You are grown up like a lady now, Alesha. How's your father, your mother? Did your brother already came home?" Ms. Montefalco asked. Naguguluhan ako.
"Hon, she probably forget us. She was young that time when we visit them" Mr. Montefalco said.
"Can we just continue this in the office?" I asked. "Sure thing, dear" Ms. Montefalco said.
"By the way, I'm Kade Montefalco" sabi ng kapatid niya. Kade Montefalco? Hmm. Napaisip ako.
Wait! Don't tell me..
He's the guy who arrived at our house 16 years ago. Bumaling ako sakanya. "I already know you. Ikaw ba yung cute na cute na mataba noon?" I asked him.
"Yeah. But I have no fats on my stomach, abs nato" he said. I laughed after what he said. Bumaling naman si Kade sa lalaking kumuha ng libro ko noong isang araw. He smirked at me.
"By the way, this is my brother, Drake Montefalco" nakangiting sabi ni Kade.
"I already know her" sabi ni Drake na kinatingin ni Mrs. Montefalco sa amin.
Mrs. Montefalco eyes widened to us. She even come to me and hug me. "Hon, they are just met. C'mon let them be" sabi ni Mr. Montefalco kaya bumalik doon ang asawa nito na tuwang tuwa parin.
"How?" Kade asked him. Lahat ng estudyante sa campus ay nakatingin sa amin. Napapagitnaan ako ng dalawang Montefalco na naglalakad patungo sa opisina.
"You kno----" I cut him off. "Long story, Kade. I will tell you after this. Can I invite you for friendly coffee date later?" I asked him.
Kade smiled. "Sure, why not. I'm glad to be your coffee date"
Napaawang naman sa labi si Drake. "Dad" bulalas ko. I thought bukas pa siya dadating. Nakipagbeso ako kay Daddy.
"Parang nakakita ka ng multo naman, Alesha" sabi ni Daddy. "I thought bukas po pa kayo"
"We have visitors. I need to met the visitors first. You go to your class now, Alesha. I'll handle this" Dad said.
"Are sure about this Dad?" I asked. "Just trust the process, Alesha. Now go to your class"
Nagpaalam na ako kay Mr. And Mrs. Montefalco para tumungo na sa silid aralan ko. "Alesha" It was Hailey. Late naman ang bruha. "Thanks god, nahabol pa kita"
"Bakit ka ba late?" I asked her. "May nakabangga pa akong isang lalaki kanina. Tapos siya pa yung nagalit dahil hindi daw ako tumitingin sa dinadaraanan ko" By judging to her tone, she pissed off.
Hinila na niya ako patungo sa classroom. As we expected, yung terror na prof namin ang nagtuturo. Patay! "Why are you late Ms. Salvador and Ms. Buenavista?" Ms. Planca asked us.
"Di porket may-ari ka sa paaralang ito, Ms. Salvador you can do whatever you want" sabi ni Ms. Planca.
"Kaya nga. Abusado" sabat pa ni Roxanne.
Aba. "I'm sorry po. Dad, assigned me to welcome the visitors" I said.
Hindi nalang ito kumibo kaya umupo na kami ni Hailey. I rolled my eyes to Roxanne who is now staring at me. Bruhang wala namang pambili ng papel.
Ms. Planca is our Inorganic Chemistry which is pinakamahirap na subject para sa akin. "Ms. Salvador" she called. "What substances is a nonelectrolyte?"
Natameme ako. Inaral ko ito kagabi hindi pwedeng makalimutan ko lang basta-basta. Dahan-dahan akong tumayo. ".....CH3CH2OH or Ethanol"
Ms. Planca smirked. "Good. Sit down. Next is Ms. Buenavista"
Hailey confidently stood up. She loves Chemistry. "Are you ready for the question?" Ms. Planca asked Hailey.
Tumango si Hailey. "What mass of sodium hydroxide is dissolved in 295 g of a solution that is 12.0 g % by mass NaOH?"
Hailey smiled. She knows the answer. "35.4 g" she answered.
"Good. I'm glad you study so well. How about you Ms. Sy?" Ms. Planca asked.
"Give me one example of strong acids" Ms. Planca said. Roxanne stood up. Nakatitig siya sa pisara habang iniisip ang isasagot.
Until the bell rang. "We have discussed this yesterday, Ms. Sy. Have you forgotten the lesson?" Ms. Planca asked.
Umupo nalang si Roxanne. Hailey smirked to her. Nagyabang rin itong kaibigan ko. Napunta lang sa madaling tanong. "We have an easy experiment tomorrow. This activity is for pairing. Hope you can do well, tomorrow. Class dismissed" Ms. Planca said.
Haist! I'm glad nasagot ko. I'll be doomed. For me, Chemistry is one of my hardest subject while Math is the easiest. Si Hailey naman madali sakanya ang Chemistry, ofcourse when she want to pursue Chemical Engineer. Sa chemistry lang talaga kami magkaklase.
My phone beep kaya sinilip ko kung sino ang nagmessage sa akin.
