Ryder POV

Everyone was waiting for the rouges to come, I was getting nervous. I was still holding Kaydens hand there were a lot of rouges coming, I can sense it with my new Alpha senses. My five sense were better than before, i didn't know why I was nervous. I looked at Kayden, he looks fearless, so did my brothers and Joseph. I decided to hide my nervousness and become fearless, when they were close Kayden squeezed my hand. I didn't look at him but I knew that was just him making me aware of what's happening, we were in the woods waiting for the rouges to come.

"Are you ready?" Joseph asked me

"I think so" I whispered and he handed me a dagger made out of sliver. When Kayden saw Joseph handed me the knife he growled

"What are you doing?" Kayden asked

"Well I'm pretty sure Joel knows my scent already so I'm making sure he comes here" I said and let go of Kayden, I put the knife to my palm and I felt a stinging pain where I cut myself. I balled my hands to a fist and extend my hand put so the blood would drip on the ground. Once it did, smelled the scent of Joel coming closer. I saw my hand heal quickly and I hold Kaydens hand again, I put the dagger In my pocket. I squeezed Kaydens hand.

"Please be careful" I whisper to him

"I'll try" he said Joel arrived, he looked like a mad man, his hair was sticking up, he look as if he hasn't had sleep in week, behind him was a big group of rouges. There was so many of them, this is it. War. I hope can see every body after this, I don't want anyone to die because of this.

"So it's this pack then" Joel said

Kayden POV

I could feel what Ryder's feeling and she doesn't know it, she nervous for me. She doesn't want me to be in a coma, I understand that but she can't be nervous for me all the time. I would always be nervous for time like these but since Ryder is with me, I feel confident. She with me so I know she'll be safe

"So it's this pack then" he said

"Yes as you can see we're ready for a fight" Ryder spoke what is she doing? She squeezed my hand again

"i know people will die, in your pack and in mine. I want you to think about fighting with one of the strongest pack" She said I know what she's doing, she's trying to speak to them. No she not nervous for me, she nervous for this pack. She doesn't want anyone to die, She may be an Alpha but she's also a Luna. I tried to hold back a smirk

"I must Avenge Kevin's death" he growled "I will kill the person who killed Kevin"

She growled and squeeze my hand tighter "You wish" she murmured, She looked out of place here. Ryder was so short like a child's height, but when she fight....... she's the tallest person here. Joel ran toward Ryder before he touched her, I grab him by his neck and lifted him up

"Do not touch her" I snarled at him, Ryder growled. I knew she wasn't happy about protecting her but I didn't care, I threw him back and he stood up. He's angry, I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her close to me. He look surprise when he saw me pulling Ryder to me

"So you must be the Alpha of this pack" he said I didn't answer him I just stared at him. He order the pack to attack me
