It has been two days since me and Peter got together and everything was finally perfect. Me and Alice were going to go shopping later to celebrate her birthday. She was currently at Jacksons so we could get our presents ready. Everyone apart from me and my dad had given her presents probably because we haven't seen her all day. After waiting for at least an hour, my favourite brunette walked through the door. She smiled at everyone as she walked towards the table full of presents.
''Oh my god. I feel like, well...Emily!'' Everyone laughed at her joke even dad. I watched closely as she began to open a small box that was my present. Her face went all serious like which was another expression I had never seen on her. She stared inside the box as if it never ended until she looked up to me.
''It's beautiful.'' She pulled out a necklace with a heart charm on it, engraved with Alice. Within seconds I was pulled into a tight hug. ''Thank you.'' She smiled as we pulled away. My dad then began to walk over to her and handed her an envelope. It was white and had her name carefully and beautifully wrote across the front. Alice looked almost as if she'd start sweating, she was so nervous until she opened it. Once again, she stared at the card in front of her before looking up at my dad.
''Welcome to the family, Alice Walker.'' I gasped as well as Alice and tears fell down her face. ''Thank you.'' She repeated whilst hugging OUR dad. Alice had always been my sister but now it was official. After many hugs and tears it began to get late.
''Grab your coat. We're going shopping!'' We both squealed and jumped up and down like little girls.
1 hour later~
''I finally have a sister.'' I mumbled as both me and Alice walked down the road, heading home from the shops. ''There's something else...'' She held out her hand to show a small diamond encrusted ring. I gasped in surprise whereas she grinned at me. ''Jackson proposed this morning! I'm getting married Emily!'' She did the weird little dance she always does when she's excited. I laughed at her childish behaviour.
''You're such a kid that I wouldn't even know you were 18.'' I giggled once she finished her routine. ''Ah, doesn't matter! We are basically twins now. Sisters forever!'' She hip bumped me making me bump into a total stranger. ''Sorry!'' I quickly apologized whilst he just looked at me in disgust. When I looked back over to Alice she was already in tears, laughing. ''Shut up.'' I mumbled but couldn't help laugh myself. My butt began to vibrate. Why is my butt vibrating? Oh yeah, Phone...
''Hello?'' I answered to Peter's panicked voice. ''You need to get out of town NOW!'' He emphasized the word. I stopped in my tracks for a while. Alice soon noticed and parked her self beside me. ''The lizard is going to Oscorp. His going to infect the whole city, he needs the dispersement device first though. I need the antidote. Just go!'' He quickly said. The dispersement device. I know what that was. I learned about it whilst doing my DNA project.
''I'm going to get the antidote.'' I said to him knowing he would protest but I wouldn't care. ''No! No! You get out of here now! People are going to die-'' I hung up on his rant. Alice stared at me in worry as I walked away.
''What antidote? Where are WE going?'' She held my arm so I couldn't walk away. ''No, you can't come. I'm sorry but you need to leave town NOW! I'll call you later.'' I began to walk off again.
''Where are you going?'' She yelled over the police sirens beginning to cover the roads.
''Oscorp.''
