•Stiles•
"Scott I'm serious, if you don't shut the hell up I might chloroform you myself and throw you in a lake." I say as me and Scott sit at our lunch table by ourselves. Scott keeps going on and on about this girl from his gym class.
To say so myself I currently don't give two shits. No scratch that, I don't give any. Seventh grade is rough, especially if you shaved your head for a dare. I roll my eyes as Scott stares at the blond bimbo.
"Hey Man, you do know staring won't give you the power to look through her clothes right?" I shrug when Scott glares at me, and I continue to shove fries in my mouth.
"You look like me when Lydia walks by, it's horrible." I say with my mouth full, pieces of french fries falling out of my mouth but I could care less.
"Hello?" My head whips to where the small voice came from. A short girl stands to my left, looking between me and Scott. Her cheeks burn red and my breathe hitches in my throat. She's beautiful, long brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. She runs her hand through her hair nervously when we don't say anything. I quickly swallow the fries but Scott speaks first.
"Hey? Are you new?" She nods and I smirk.
"I'm Stiles, 110 pounds of pale skin and fragile bones and sarcasm is my only defense."
She smiles and chuckles, dimples showing and I blush slightly, my awkward demeanor starting to show as I gulp nervously.
"Cassie."

"Stiles...Stiles wake up." Someone shook me lightly and my head shot up. Scott stood there eyes bloodshot and wet, resembling mine. He smiles a forced smile but I don't smile back. I feel empty and I feel like there's nothing going to save me. He sits next to me, but I avoid his hard gaze.
"We found the pack again...we have to go." I turn my head and look at him in disbelief.
"Are you serious?" Anger is in my voice but I do my best to keep it down. He gulps and I stand up. He does the same as well. "I'm not leaving."
"Stiles-" I shove him hard and he stumbles. I clench my fist tightly and my jaw clenches. Scott gulps as he puts his hands up about to say something.
"Leave. Just...go Scott." He doesn't say anything but nods, walking past me. I sigh watch him walk away. I sit back down and let my mind take over.

"Stiles? Where are you going?" Her sweet voice is music to my ears and I can't help but feel guilty. I turn away to see her frowning. I walk towards her and she sits up from my bed. Her beautiful hair falls over her shoulders, my flannel the only thing covering her body.
"I have to go." I say quietly pushing a strand of hair away from her face. She frowns, a frown that doesn't deserve to be on her features. She unwraps herself from her covers and stands up, pulling me into a hug.
"You'll be back, right?" Her voice cracks and tears build in her eyes. I nod quickly but don't tell her I'll be gone for a while. I pull her into me tightly and she clenches my shirt.
"I'll be back before you know it." I say and pull grabbing my duffle bag and pillow, but she grabs onto my shirt again. She falls back onto the bed, wrapping both of her arms around herself. She looks up at me, her beautiful blue eyes glistening with tears. She looks helpless her bottom lip trembles. I grab both of her hands and kiss each one.
"Please don't leave me." The tears fall down her face and I kneel down one more time, whipping them away. I kiss her forehead letting it linger a while longer. She intakes a breathe and when I pull away her eyes are closed. She holds me to her, not wanting to let go. My heart breaks slightly at her innocence.
"I'll never leave you."

My eyes snap open and dread fills me. After I went to Eichen House nothing was the same. Malia come into my life and everything changed. The night I spent with Malia, all that was running through my mind is she isn't mine. Cassie isn't mine and she never will be. So after that night I tried to move on and be with Malia.
But it never felt right. Malia is an amazing person but she isn't Cassie. She never will be. That's why I resorted to ignoring Cassie, even though it broke my heart. But my mistake let me to We're I am now.
"Stiles." Malissa stood in front of me with sorrow in her eyes. I stood up quickly waiting for her to speak.
"She's still in a coma and we will take her into surgery, but you can go in there." I nod quickly and walk to her door. I walk in and grimace at her state.
She looks almost peaceful. Her face void of any emotion as she breathes slowly. I walk to her bed and sit on the seat next to her. I grab her hand and rub it gently. Her hand is freezing and I rub them, trying to get some heat.
I study her features and want her to make a sign that she's still here with me. Even if shes unconscious I want to know she can still feel my presence.
"I don't know if you can hear me, but please wake up. I need you to wake up Cas. Without you here it's hell and I screwed up." Tears build in my eyes as I continue. "I never meant a single thing I said, god I'm such an idiot. I just...I need you here. I love you Cassie, please come back to me."
I wipe my tears away and slowly rest my head against her bed. Exhaustion taking over my whole body.
___
Cassie got surgery and nothing has changed. Weeks have gone by and I stay in the hospital every day. Everyday I talk to her before school, then after school I come back and stay the night at the hospital. My dad doesn't mind me staying here but lately he's been getting worried about me.
The pack come and visit everyday after school with me, but nothing changes. I currently sit in the chair by her bed, reading her To Kill A Mockingbird for the seventh time.
A loud beeping noise goes off from her heart monitor which makes me jump.
I quickly stand up and see her heart racing as loud beeping noises start to blare. Nurses rush in and start yelling frantically to each other. My own heart picks up as I start to panic.
"Stiles. Come with me please." Malissa grabs me pushing me towards the door. I don't resist as in too shocked to do anything. I watch as her body starts to shake and they continue to yell at each other.
Before I can process what's happening Malissa is dragging me out of the room and telling me to stay. She quickly goes into the room, and closes the door roughly. My hands run through my hair as I tug at the roots. That's when I hear the words I've been waiting for.
"She's awake!"
