"How'd you get ahead of me?" I asked, finally caught up. He had grabbed her forearm arms and knelt down. "Stay there, Loki. Give me a sec." She's yanked away from him. "You said talk. Start talking or I'm walking. Capeesh?" He nodded. "You're maybe Loki's sister, if I'm correct. Loki was abandoned. You were given to Odin for safekeeping." She nodded slightly.

"Fantastic. So Odin's gotten his bloody hands on both of us. At least he couldn't mess you up." She scoffed. "Yes. Because jumping from foster home to foster home is so great." "At least you weren't lied to your entire life." "You grew up in a palace, you spoilt brat." "WATCH YOUR TONE." She kicked my shin, grabbed my head and threw me over her shoulder. "How did you?" "I'm a single girl living in the biggest metropolitan on the eastern seaboard! I am not completely defenceless." I can tell. I leaned over and held my shin, looked at her footwear and asked, "How do sneakers hurt that much?" "I took self defense classes after tried to blow us up!" "What did I do?" Dumb question. "You killed like 6,000 people and MY PARENTS!" "Lorelei," Thor said, "your parents?" "Yes, my parents! And I have a list of things to complain to his about!" I began sitting up, and she glared at me. "Stay down green bean." I rolled my eyes.

"You've been adopted here?" Thor asked. She nodded. "Had been, yeah. He sure fixed that!" "It not like I was targeting you! I didn't even know you existed." "Yes. Because that totally fixes what you did. You're a monster, and I hope you get exactly what's coming to you. I shot up and shouted, "Enough! I will not be spoken to in such a Mann by nothing more than a..." She cut me off by punching me in the nose. Painful, but admittedly effective.
