|| Chapter Fourteen ||

With a loud splash I came crashing into the river water that sat calmly outside of the sewer tunnel, my body collapsed just outside of the tunnel walls and hit the slimy rocks that lay beneath the water with a thud.
I burst into a fit of screams and cries when the loud sound of balloons popping almost immediately silenced.
I held my hands against my ears as I sat up and rocked my body back and forth, my eyes slammed shut.

After a short moment of writhing in agony my eyes shot open, I quickly pulled myself to my feet and rushed away from the tunnel, the water rising against my body.
I turned my body to see the sewer tunnel, there in the center of it stood Pennywise; Blood seeping from his head and floating upwards. I couldn't tell if he was sadistically happy or sadistically angry.

I let out a cry and ran as fast as I could through the river.
I didn't dare to look back.

I ran forward only to trip and fall to the the ground, I cried out in pain when I realized I had found the civilization of Derry. I had landed in the middle of the road.
I shakily climbed to my feet and looked around, only to be stopped by an oncoming car. It came to a halt beside my trembling frame.

The window lowered to reveal Carter.
He stared at me with wide eyes, only to quickly look away when he saw my ripped shirt that exposed my bra.
He climbed out of the car and rushed over, he clasped the two sides of my shirt and pulled them together to hide my chest. He looked at me with his wide, blue eyes.
"What happened to you?!" He asked in a panicked tone.

I only shook my head in a frantic response, I opened my mouth to reply but all that exited my mouth were choked sobs.
Carter took the message and carefully gestured me to his car, he opened the passenger side door and helped me in.
Once I was seated he ran around and climbed into the drivers seat.
He stared at my shaking body with raised eyebrows.
He was going to ask more, but he decided against it.

He pressed the gas pedal and began driving. "I'm gonna take you to a hospital," he stated.
I quickly shook my head, I choked on a bit of phlegm as I finally spoke.
"No!- " I shouted.
"I mean... It's not that b-bad..." I sighed shakily.

I only said no because I would be questioned. I highly doubted that anyone would believe I was kidnapped my some clown lookalike and tortured and nearly raped.
Carter looked at me with wide eyes for a moment, he gulped and directed his sight onto the road.
That all I was staring at.
"Can you at least tell me what happened?..." He asked, hesitance writhing in his tone.

I took a long silence to recuperate.
Everything replaying in my head.
So much happened in such a short time in the sewers.
I took a deep breath and spoke, my voice hoarse from all my screaming and crying.
I could feel my stained tears stretch at my movement.

I concluded that I would have to make this story seem as realistic as possible.
"Um...The- he- It... Took me..." I choked.

Carter turned to look at me for a long moment, not even bothering to pull over. I continued my story, staring down at my ripped and dirtied shorts as I spoke.
"He brought me somewhere... I don't know where- and... He- " tears slowly rolled down my cheeks.
"He... Force fed me and hurt me... He tried to- t-t-touch me..." I let out a pained cry at the sudden shock of pain surging through me, the deep claw slashes Pennywise had left on my hip was sending waves of pain through me.

Carter looked at me quickly.
"Oh my god, Y/n are you okay?" He asked, I figured he was concerned about how I felt about the aftermath of the incident and my sudden crying.
