As much as I hate assuming,
I can feel the spark between us.
But our age is making it hard,
Im a girl scared to confess,
And he is younger scared to tell
What he's feeling deep inside.
We are both holding back,
I can feel it surging in our little glances.
Welcoming with our widest smiles.
I hope I'm not assuming,
But I hope I can find courage to speak up
For I cannot hold any longer.
