He's woozy and loopy
His dissociation has begun
Pulling him from realities grasp
Taking him to a place
He'd rather not roam
He breathes in and out
But nothing feels real
He feels his hands
His arms
His torso
Nothing feels real
The blood in his veins isn't real
The oceans in his eyes aren't real
The world around him is fake
As if this is a test of human fate
He believes that humans have died
Long ago
And maybe he's in space
Being tested to see if the human race
Should be saved
He's convinced he's an error
And the system won't erase him
Just leave him to hurt instead
Everything he touches
Seems to disintegrate into pain
Everything beautiful
Becomes a lie
Everyone he meets
Destroys him
So he floats through the world
Like a ghost
Wondering
What even is reality?
