Hey! After a long time! It's just another poem that I wrote. I had already posted it on Facebook. Forgot to upload it here.

Happy reading! :)

*****
Lover's Knife

Knives are scintillating gold,
The words making them a levity.

Love, it had always been concrete,
Discreet and axe-destructive,
An axe, sharp and afflictive.
Heart and Mind never shook hands,
Against each other they played.
Heart swore to be the Victor,
For the love that covered loathe always shimmered.
Through the enchanting facade,
You didn't see, and didn't hear,
His letters and words enjoying the panaroma,
Of the mixing colours of your tears.
You didn't realise, neither acknowledged,
Yourself traipsing over the volcanic stones,
Stones of extreme blazing intensity
That lit your feet up.
And travelled up along your whole beautiful self.
Left you all black and charred,
Letting impassiveness pierce your skin,
And seeping into the nerves void of any blood,
Changing All the shades of you.
But, even then you don't see
What love and lover reduced you to.
And you still smile exuberantly,

'Cos knives are scintillating gold
The words making them a levity.
