HEBONY,S POV
i woke to the sound of mama birds sweet song. and the beautiful yellow stream of light leaking through my open window. i jumped out of my bed and skipped to my window letting my eyes ajust and staring out onto the tree outside my window. i knew he wasnt there but i always had hope. tay was my best friend and crush. whe he was 15 he dissapeared out of thin air. since i was 5 and he was 7 we were practically unseperable. and when he vanished i broke down. i wouldnt eat or sleep.
