You had just gotten back from a date, and decided to go to your best friend Alex's hotel, and tell her all about it.
***** "Hey girl," you smiled when Alex let you in. "I have so much to tell you about this date I just went on." As you started to ramble, you started to notice that Alex wasn't paying attention at all. "Hello, earth to Alex? Is my great date story boring you?" "It's the same every time. 'Oh we went to a fancy restaurant and ended the night making out in his car.' It's nauseating," Alex rolled her eyes. "Excuse me? At least I'm trying to get out there and find someone, while you're sitting here crying over a guy who clearly has a girlfriend."
Alex glared at you, "You don't understand Y/N," she scoffed. "I don't understand what?" "I'm scared," "Scared of what? Just because one guy was not the right choice doesn't mean they all aren't." Alex stood up and started pacing, tears starting to form in her eyes. "I'm scared as hell to want you," she yelled. "But here I am, wanting you anyway." You stood there shocked, having no idea what to do or say. She loves you?
