a note from a salty author:

I was thirteen when I wrote this. Thirteen years old. It's been almost three years since I wrote this book. I know there are quite a few flaws with it. I know the plot and characters are lowkey cringey. I don't need to hear the opinions you internet trolls might have. If you don't enjoy the book, don't read it. I assure you that I have evolved so much as a writer and my stories at present day are more logical and my characters have more depth. My books are so much better now, yes, and I fully acknowledge the errors this one has. This story is not particularly groundbreaking. I'm not Ray Bradbury or Shakespeare or whomever else is a talented writer.

That said, there are so many people who love this story. I have received countless comments and messages about how much this story means to them. It might be old and flawed, but people love it.

This is my child, be kind to it. Even if I'm a better writer now, this story still means something to me.

This is how I feel about anyone's negative comments:
