English: The Art of Deception

I was walking alone in a wilderness,
Finding someone in this endless wasteland.
I once wish I was in a dreamland,
Not the other way around.

But as I walk, and walk, and walk,
I was greeted by a woman.
She is standing there alone,
As if waiting for me to come.

As soon as I reached her,
I deeply sigh.
Pushing all the negative thoughts in my mind,
I smile at her.

She is bubbly and funny to be with,
Which makes me comfortable with her.
I know, deep inside my heart,
She is the one.

Sharing her own story
Brings laughter to me.
Why would I doubt her?
Maybe I am starting to trust, again.

Finally, we have reached the end.
Although I cannot see it clearly
Because of too much light,
I know this is the end.

As soon as my eyes adjusted from the sudden light reaction,
Realization struck me.
I was betrayed, again, by a so-called friend,
Thinking that she was sincere to me.

I was walking alone in a wilderness, again,
Searching for another way out.
Silence engulfed me,
So as the darkness.

What am I going to do now?
I'm afraid to trust again.
I'm afraid...
I cannot continue this journey by myself.
