I think I should give an explanation as to why I never continued Halftober. I keep rewriting it because it always sounds super whiny but at this point I'm just giving up and whining.
On my Europe trip, I sketched days 9-17, but I'm not going to be posting them because I really wasn't satisfied. Traveling and trying to get everything done really doesn't mix well, especially since I was fairly sick towards the end. I was careful to prevent contamination of other poor souls but I also didn't tell my parents, so that kinda fogged up my mind and the drawings were rather weird as a result.
Plus, that one with Conner, well, there's a reason I deleted it. Someone made it very clear to me that I really, ah, quiznaked up. LGBT content is something I'll never be able to get right so I'll only be drawing my hetero OCs, and I'll probably straight-wash the rest tbh. I felt really bad about it during the trip.
I missed the first day back because giant flight, and while I knew it would be extremely hard to make up, I've barely recovered and it's been a full week. That day back I had been awake for over a day, since flying made 24 and not sleeping that night added an additional 9. Which is fine, lots of people survive much more stress on much less sleep, but it made me an absolute mess. I could barely process what was going on, my throat was ripped up, needless to say it slowed me down on the art prints for a few days. And then the assignments just kept coming. A paper for English, double math homework, you name it and I had it. Which is, again, absolutely fine, but I don't think I could really process anything until Thursday last week.
Then I sort of gave up. I hate to admit it, but because schoolwork, I stopped doing the prompts. Oh look, the excuse nearly everyone in school uses! But honestly, I've always been a huge diva about my mental health, so I prioritized it and spent my free time zoned out in my room, just sort of staring at the ceiling with YouTube on.
So I'll probably do the last day, but beyond that, I gave up. And I'm sorry, but I also feel much more free.
On the bright side, here are a few super rough and rushed schoodles to prove that school hasn't stopped me from drawing ( – the most basic of expressions)

And now we get to see my lowest class aka physics for dumbo freshmen whOOP WHOOP (I've got a B- if you're curious criii). I've had these ideas for my story about a festival thing where people/mythical creatures wear these manta ray costumes that fit over the back like a cape/cloak, except they fit your upper body shape better (because manta ray shape) and close off into a tail right behind the knees, and then they dance in them like that one scene in Rio 2 that's actually really fun to watch, here have a looksie

How come when Blu wears a fanny pack it's dorky but when Keith does no one bats an eye (except the beautiful fandom of course)?
