Matteo's POV
After her little rant that really pissed me off I told her that "I'd be in touch" and I turned and left. Now I know I shouldn't have left her alone after her recent episode that landed her in the doctors office but my anger was on the verge of spilling out and ruining every chance I'd ever get at a family so I walked away. She works here. She knows her way around. She will be fine. I hope...

But what if she wasn't... what if she panicked again and this time she ended up in an ambo on the way to the hospital, blue lights and sirens... everything! Or worse... she fell and hit her head and gave herself brain damage, then who would take care of our kids because after her little rant I am sure that it wouldn't me. FUCK.

My vivid imagination has now worked me up and I need to find out if she and the kids are ok. So, i call front desk, reception.

"Good Evening. This is the Belmont Hotel, How may I help you?" Asked a young woman, probably in her early 20's.

"It is Mr. De Luca. I want to speak to the manager."

"Ok, well Mr. Ward is currently dealing with a situation. I could ask him to call you back aft-"

I'm losing my temper so I cut in... "Look, I am the Owner of this Hotel. You will tell me right now what the 'situation' is and you WILL give me Mr. Ward's room and mobile number, or else you will be job searching for the next 10 years!" I make the threat in a tone that would make a grown man piss himself never mind a 20 year old receptionist, I don't care who she is, I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GRACE.

"Ok Sir. Just a moment.."

She gives me Mac's number and tells me "I don't care that you are the owner, You pay me to be respectful and courteous to the clients. That includes me not divulging personal situations to people that ask no matter the threat placed upon me. Go ahead, fire me. But when i explain to my potential employer that i was just doing my job, and not giving out confidential information then I'm sure that they won't have a problem in hiring me Mr. DeLuca." I admire the balls on this woman, talking to me like that but she is right. That IS what i pay all my staff for. Her name tag says Evie. I am not firing her, instead I end the call and dial Mac.

"Good Evening. Belmont Hotel. Mac Speaking, how can I help you?" Mac answers on the second ring.
"Mac, it is De Luca. How is Grace and the Kids?" I ask.
"Erm, they are fine..." I hear a muffled argument on the phone, he is covering the microphone. "Yeah, everyone is fine."

"Can I speak to Grace?" I ask. I wait, again hearing a muffled argument before the phone is picked up and I hear a sigh.

"What's wrong Matteo?" She questions lazily.

"Have lunch with me tomorrow at 1:00pm." I state.

A moment of silence then I get another question... "What about your fiancé?" Shit I forgot about Stella! Fuck it I'll send her shopping with my card, I don't care how much she spends it is worth it even just for a couple minutes to talk with Grace.

"She won't be present, it will be just you and me in the hotel restaurant because we need to talk" I tell her.

"Well, I won't be able to do tomorrow. Perhaps the day after?"

"Ok, that's fine" I reply happy that she is agreeing to this.

"Bye Matteo" The line goes dead. I climb into bed, my thoughts and dreams consisting of four things. Arloe. Weaver. Grace. Family.

Grace's POV:
Unbelievably I am sat in the hotel restaurant waiting for Matteo. It is 1:05 pm. He is late. Which shows how much he cares about his children. I know that this meeting is about Arloe and Weaver. I fear that he will want to take them away from me but I hope that he will sign the contract I had drafted up yesterday.

Whilst the Kids were at school and I was on my Lunch break I visited a local solicitor and had the papers that would waive Matteo of his Parental rights written up. It meant that he wouldn't have to do anything except forget we even existed so that he could continue with his life whilst we continued with ours.

I am so deep in thought that I don't notice Carlos is stood at my table. He lightly touches my shoulder and says... "Grace, are you ok?" He is so caring and according to the rest of the staff he fancies me and if I didn't have so much going on right now I would invite him for a drink.

Carlos is a couple years older than me, he has blonde hair, brown eyes and very tanned. I remember him telling me that he was an outdoorsman, Loves to surf and to hike. If I didn't have two little ones I would probs ask if I could join him! I once loved doing anything active, from dancing to canoeing but now I am limited to doing what my kids want.

"Yeah, thank you Carlos"
"It's ok, I was wondering... would you.... errr" he blushes nervously "would you like to grab a drink after work with me?"

I smile at him. "Sure I will, maybe at like 7? Once the kids are at their grandparents. My mother and Father want to spend a few days with them and seeing as though Matteo has just turned up it was prime opportunity to send my children away from the hotel, away from the situation and spend some time with my parents.

"Ok, I'll meet you outside at 7" Carlos says before someone clears their voice. I turn to see Matteo stood there. He looks pissed. Ok. I need to send Carlos to the next table.

"Carlos my guest has arrived, I'll erm speak to you later" I stand and give him a hug before turning back to Matteo, glaring and sitting down.

Let the Lunch Commence.
