Marauders Halloween Headcanons

•Matching couple costumes, James and Lily go as a stag and a doe

•Remus is a werewolf on Halloween for three years straight because irony

•They skip classes the day before Halloween to carve out jack o lanterns and they make a huge mess in their dorms and the entire Gryffindor tower smells of pumpkins for days

•James and Sirius wear armours and scare first years

•The night before Halloween they tell ghost stories in the common room and anyone is invited to sit with them because Peter is the master of scary stories and nobody actually gets any sleep that night because they're so terrified

•James transfigures Snape into a bat in sixth year and it doesn't wear off until Halloween is over. •You'd think these four are the Halloween masters (and they'd like to think so, actually) but no: it's Lily Evans. From first year she's got the entire school terrified. She's friends with all the ghosts. Peeves is too intimidated by her not to listen to her. Nobody talks about the Great Pumpkin Juice Incident of '76. Nobody

After they graduate James and Lily's place is known for having the best Halloween party around. The muggle police are too frightened to shut it down after the first and last time they tried to. If anyone manages to scare Lily they get a thousand galleons. The thousand galleons are yet to be claimed

•The year they went into hiding they obviously couldn't hold a party. Nevertheless they dressed up a bit. Sirius brought Harry pajamas with flying pumpkins on it and Lily was beginning her favorite ghost story. Harry giggled as James glowed his wand orange. He loved pretty lights

•Then the door rattled
