I'll be back." Keith says to his boys. Keith gets in the car and makes his way to Messiah's parent's house. They had finally convinced her to come to spend some time away from work, life, and Blake. When he pulled up, he knocked on the door, then Micah answered.

Hey, Keith," Micah said

He went upstairs to Messiah's room and before he opened the door, she sounded like she was having a nightmare. I'm sorry."He kisses her temple

Messiah turned her body to see Keith. "Keith?." She spoke

I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you," I sighed angrily

Not a word was spoken, just more tears. He held her close to him, so close she wouldn't be able to leave him again and he rocked her to sleep.

Without another peep, Messiah and I were both sleeping soundly.

Messiah

Good morning sleepy head." Micah knocked

Hey Micah," She replied

How did you sleep?." She asks

I had a weird dream last night shit felt way too real, Keith had come into my... Before I could finish my sentence, Keith had come outta my bathroom to brush his teeth.

It wasn't a dream," I said to myself

I just tossed myself back on my bed and flipped the covers over me so it covered my whole body. Why was this happening to me?

Messiah gets out of bed and does her hygiene thing after I got dressed, I looked in the mirror at my bruises the swelling went down and I could blink now. I go downstairs, seeing my family and Keith at the table.

Mom blessed the food and we began to eat breakfast.

Siah, Keith and your brothers are taking you to get your stuff; they should be here soon," Daddy said

I don't know if Blake is home. He doesn't like people in the house when he isn't there," She said

The table erupts in laughter at Mom comparing Makayla to Evander Holyfield.

Yeah," Messiah's sisters and her spoke

Call me when you get there, and don't forget to text me his address and remember to call us every day," My mom said. I hugged my parents then all of us left for Blake's house. I had prayed to God that he wasn't home. I didn't want to run into him and set him off, but sure enough, when we pulled up, he was home.

We're right behind you," Kelly said as I nervously opened the door

She runs quickly up the steps with her sisters and they start to pack all of her things, I was looking for my car keys but I remembered Blake hid them somewhere in his office. Messiah goes to Blake's office and starts looking for her keys; after a few minutes, she found them.

Your back?." A voice said

Blake..," I said, shocked, dropping my keys

How's your eye?." He asked

His words sent chills down my body.

It's fine," She stuttered

Ford misses you. I miss you," He starts to walk to me

She backs up until he corners her between the walls and windows of the office.

I want you to come home and I'm telling you to come home," Blake grabs my neck

No," I said

You have been staying with Keith, haven't you?... You're probably fucking him," Blake laughed coldly

After that was said, I slapped him as hard as I could.

Bitch." He said, punching me back,

then I kick him in his knee, leaving him bent over in pain; you've abused me for way too long!

I left out the room with my car keys in my hand, and everyone walked out behind me soon as I left the house, the sun was shining brightly as if God was telling me my storm was over. I couldn't help but break down and cry soon as I put my house key under the mat.
