As Messiah made her bed she turned to her sister who stood in the door way crunching on a mouth full of cookies

Just gonna go see Mrs. Powers." I shrugged

Shut up hoe I'll be back before our appointments and shit just cover for me, you know ma don't want me stressing this." I said and grabbed my keys

Messiah gets into her car and heads to Keith's mom house. When she pulled up she seen the guys and his cousin were all there but she didn't care she wanted her man! I knocked on the door and Keith opened it.

What's up? Is everything ok?," He asked

Yeah I ... Keith I want you back and I don't ever want you outta my life again." She sighed

And you know I want the same but ...

But what?," I asked

It's not the right time baby, I love you but we have a lot to work on we have to grow," Keith replied

There was nothing more that I could do. Keith had already made up his mind and once his mind was made up nothing could make him change his mind except the lord himself and his mother. Messiah got into her car feeling defeated and went back home to get ready..

We were all finished getting dressed and met up with their dates. Algee ended up going with my cousin Amiya while I just decided to fly solo.

Don't get me wrong I love Messiah but I wasn't ready to deal with and we wasn't ready to handle being in love and following the rules.

She's gotta learn how to love you as well but y'all not being together isn't gonna help it, y'all are in love your gonna fuss and your gonna fight but don't let that keep you from loving and actually being with her." His cousin Dee said
