(This is part 2 to Actually)
(And I know they use names and Mr. And Mrs. But that would work much for this so you're just whom XD)
(None of this is true or real, I want you to remember that. Just in case. I'll say if/when anything is real k? My name is not Jane [or it's it?])

You had waited two years for anything, anything at all, when finally there was a knock at your door.

You opened out to see my other best friend Erin, a wide smile on her face, her eyes shining in excitement, and a box in her hand.

"Y/n! I'm so glad!" She exclaimed. You stepped aside so she could come in as she kept talking. "Apparently Jane had been trying to contact us, it's just, nothing's been going through, and, you know her," she said with a laugh.

She set the box down on the table and opened it to reveal letters.

Of course.

(Time skip)

After reading through the letters, some being heartbreaking for a few reasons, mainly consisting of dried tears on the page, talking as if they were still here, alive, and reading these, asking if they were proud of me... those ones were addressed to my parents.

My parents, as you had known, died in battle, they were in the military, and you only learned that story when you asked about the dog-tags I always wore around my neck.

It had been a roller coaster of emotions then you got to the last two letters.

One was addressed to you so you took it while Erin took the other.

With a nervous glance you opened it and began to read.

'Y/n,
     Wow, it's been a while.'

'You don't know the half of it' you thought with a small laugh.

'I don't have much to report but I've been wanting to tell you something desperately.'

"Y/n," Erin breathed.

You held up a finger, signaling her to wait, yours was a short letter so it wouldn't take long to read.

'I wanted to wait as save this for once I got home, as depending on how long it takes for this to get there I might already be there and you might already know when you read this, but still.'

"Y/n I really think-"
"Just a minute."

'Y/n M/n L/n.
I love you.
With all my heart, mind, and soul.
I've always seeked a place in your heart and recived comfort in your arms.
I'm not very good at this kind of thing so here's to hoping I didn't totally ruin our friendship and that you feel the same, or at least still like me as a friend and things didn't become so immensely awkward.'

"Y/n!"

"What?" You jumped, looking over to Erin.

It took you a millisecond to realize something was horribly wrong.

Erin had tears in her eyes and steaming down her face. She held out the paper for you to grab so you did.

'To whom it may concern...'
