People say I'm breathing
like normal people do,
but why am I suffocating
and struggling to breathe?
I'm gasping for oxygen
like I'm under the sea.
But every time I breathe,
it feels like I'm consuming poison.
The toxic is trying to get
into my system,
tears streaming down
my face.
All I could do is
to keep swallowing
what I thought was air
until I'm lost for good.
