Every time I scrutinize
my reflection in the mirror,
it derides me,
"You're full of flaws.
You're not pretty enough.
You're not skinny enough.
You're not smart enough.
You have defects.
You're imperfect."
It renders me to feel
that I'm not good enough.
Please make it stop.
I just want to love myself,
but it seems easier said
than done.
