I look at my best friend, nodding at her statement.
'Skyler makes me feel like, I'm the best. She makes me feel better. But, why can't why say that I broke upwith him becauseI'm gay? Why do I have to lie to her?'
I thought, before I snapped back into reality.
"Hey, Cass. You okay?" Skyler looked at me with a concerned face, noticing that I was not really talking and out there.
"I'm fine."
I forced a smile on my face.
Her beautiful hazel eyes showed many emotions such as, concerned, hurt, and sad.
"I know, when you are lying, Cass." My Crush responded, with her arms crossing across her chest.
I hugged her, while tears kept on pouring out.
"Hey, hey. It's going to be all okay." She cooed.
We walked to her house and went into her room.
Skyler ran to her bed while yelling, "Home, sweet home!" She giggled.
"Sky?" I asked in broken manner.
"Yeah?" She said in a sweet tone.
"What if someone was lying to you, how would you react?" I asked.
"Cass, I would be sad and mad. I would want to find out why they lied to me in the first place." She said, looking at me.
'Ifeel evenmoreguilty. She doesn'tdeserve the lying and most importantly, me. She deserves someone else.'
