Countless people lost in such a tragedy, but what really happened?
Adam Prin knows the truth, but he's forbidden to speak it. So he prepares instead.
He has a secluded house in a small town that's big enough to have its own resources but small enough to not draw much attention, hundreds of guns with seemingly endless ammo, a badass daughter whose been training almost all of her life to kill what's already dead, and out of this world security.
When the first wave of casualties hit in the city, the towns people are wary. It wasn't until one of their own starts eating another, do they take it seriously. They head straight to Adam and Amara, the same people they'd called crazy.
A father and daughter put in charge of 200 people, with dwindling numbers, when they'd only prepared for 2. Tensions rise as the townspeople realize Adam knows more than he's letting on about the Z-DEX1o119 Virus.
Can Adam and Amara look out for each other and everyone else with the growing Undead population? Or will they perish like the rest of the world?
