I was siting on the bed in my towel half naked waiting for Trina or nana to pick me something to wear out. She was one of my best friends and she wanted me to dress like a girl rather than a tomboy this year so I agreed. "Girl I know you heard me" I looked up because I wasn't even listening to anything, but I seen a black long sleeve shirt in her hand and blue jeans with my all white forces.

"I said get cha ass up and go put on these clothes we got school in the next hour" she handed the clothes to me.

As I went into the bathroom I got dressed and combed my hair out while putting on a lil make up my mama showed me how to do since I was a little girl ,but I never wore it I just did hers. Looking myself in the mirror and smiling 'This is your year you hear me nobody's gonna bully you or do anything to hurt you'. I wanted to cry thinking of my past 2 years of heart ache and pain during my first two years of high school.

I came out and Paula busted through my room with my mama "Yall take forever oh Ri you look good hun ayeee" she started dancing we all laughed at my mama she wasn't your average mom. She didnt have any family after they dis owned her for having me and my father split when I was 5 taking my sister who was 11 at the time with him. Her name was yovanna she was my half sister her dad met my mom when yovanna was 2 years old. I dont miss her period she made my life hell because I was a chubby kid and not skinny enough to hang with her. My mom raised me like a best friend even though we were different shes a wild party type but shes also a hard working successful doctor who has did nothing but love me.

"Yo we gotta go dont wanna be late first day back" Paula said as we all grabbed our bags since we had a sleep over the previous night. "Yall be good and dont get into no mess Trina" we all knew nana was going to the first day back people are demanding and mean she was bond to say something because she couldnt hold nothing in. "Ri your gonna be ok hun just dont let no one get in yo way understand" I nodded as she kissed my fore head we all hugged mama as we headed out the door.

We all pulled up to our school as we got out the car Trinas long-term boyfriend Michael walked up to us. "Hey babe where you been ive been calling you" he pulled out his phone and showed her a video of his grandma who was fighting cancer. "Shes up oh my God I have to see granny Jojo" he laughed as they kissed me and paula said 'Goals' as they laughed. "Yo Ri thats the first I heard you talk since you been around me" It was true I never said anything to him because Im shy but I got comfortable around him and hes real cool I just hope he continue to make nana happy.

We all got our schedules and went to our lockers that was already paid for ,but mines was on a different hall. The worst hall of them all is where all the popular boys hang like they dont gotta go to class. I was willingly ready to carry all my stuff but my bag was heavy I had to put some stuff in my locker. Huffing as I hugged Pea and Nana because I wont see them til 3rd, lunch, 6th, and 7th.

I walked down the hall past my class and turned on the next hall way where I could hear laughter I counted from 10 and began walikng. The laughter had died once they thought I was a teacher but soon picked back up. "Yo she look mad familiar" oh God not now its too early for this, told myself it wouldnt get to me but words hurt.

"Ri'annah Jordan" I looked up and saw him looking at me it was None other David brewster. He and my sister are those two people who should meet hes the devil and shes his bride. "It is you remember me Ashton ,but I go by Ash how you been". "Hey Ash im good you" he hodded that he was ok and gave me a hug he was one of the people who was good to me and made me feel better. I closed my locker after getting what I needed and putting up what I didnt need and left.

I made it to class before the bell rung for class to start and when it did I didnt want to be noticed so I got up and sat in the very back. Students started to fill the class I was in my phone reading wattpad when someone told me to move.
