We were now in the second week of September. I was a little depressed thinking about the events that played this morning.

My mom usually wakes me up if my alarm doesn't, I felt someone tapping me saying get up and I opened my eyes only to see my worst nightmare. Yovanna was standing dead in front of my bed smiling down at me "Wake up whale aint seen you in years and you still fat".
She left out my room as I got up to put water on my face ,but it wasnt dream as I heard her downstairs.

"Ri, Ri, Ri" I snapped back to reality closing my locker seeing Trina and Paula starring at me. Nana felt my head as she asked me was I alright I shook my head no knowing they'd want an explanation. "Yovanna is back I dont know when but she was there at my house being the same old her" I didnt want to deal with her any more she hasn't changed one bit.
They looked at me in disbelief they to were victims of Yovanna's because they became my friends and she didn't want no to become my friend.
We heard a loud thud on the lockers as we looked to see David and his crew Ash was out sick so there wasnt a reason to stay behind. "Yo Ri hold up for a min" I kept walking but he stood in front of me blocking my way with his hands behind his back. Paula spoke up for me basically telling him to leave ,form the looks of it he wasnt going anywhere.
He pulled out a rose attached to a card handing it to me saying he was sorry. "Look this is my way of apologizing for being a shitty person" with that he left before I could even say a thank you.
"I dont trust him one bit" Nana confessed as I saw nothing wrong with him owning up to what he did thats all he meant by it. "Something off since when he started to care about saying sorry to you not once was he sorry for the hell he put chou through its good he apologized but im watching him" she than went on making me and Pea laugh as I read the card.

'My plan was in motion now all I had to do was sucker up to her now' I thought as I went to class. Doing my work I was focused until my nigga Drew came in the classroom and sat down next to me while the substitute aint give a shit what we did. "Yo Dave nigga we got problems in the bathroom" he gave me the code Boss man said to use when something wasnt right.
I walked out grabbing a pass just as an excuse in case the security gave a nigga trouble as I headed straight to the bathroom. There was niggas I never seen before selling they had to be working for an enemy didnt matter which it was finto end today. I used the bathroom washing my hands as shooter came in. I gave him a head nod as we struck the two silly niggas down.
I crouched down speaking to the one holding his jaw I could tell he was stupid some we pulled out our heat putting it to their heads. "You know who side this is tell yo bitch ass boss if he dont wanna get dropped dont fuck with us".
I kicked him in the head taking his weed , gun, and the money out his pocket as shooter did the same.
We tucked all the shit making a mental note that they wasn't gone live long as we exited the bathroom skipping class Drew came up to us with the number as we hit up Boss walking to my locker with the crew.

It was now time for 5th period I waited til Ri walked the hallway because they didn't have this period with her. Like always I seen them two walk up to her as I rolled my eyes they was some cock blockers big time Paula lucky B her fam or I would've been told her smart mouth ass off.
She saw me as she walked up to me "Um David thanks for the card and rose it was nice of you"
"It aint no thang here you go" I said giving her another rose and card as she thanked me, I had them in my locker. "Ri'annah we gone be late to Ms. Stan you know she will give extra home work and detention" Paula said glaring at me as Trina agreed with her.
I offered to walk her to class so they could leave us alone they went a direction and so did we. "Can I take you somewhere" she looked at me not knowing what to say so I gave her my number to let her think about it as we entered the classroom.

School finally let out and I didn't want to go home it was the last place I wanted to go since Yovanna was there. Pea came to a stop as we hugged and said our love u's as I told her and Terri to be safe. Yes we liked Terri better because Mel is an asshole and yeah they still together but it wasn't my business I laughed walking in the house.
"Ri is that you" my mama said as I replied with a yes. Walking into the living room ready to give her a hug I almost choked on the gum in my mouth looking at my father. The memory of him leaving us that day played in my head.

"Where do you thank you going" Quincy was up packing I didn't understand why. "Look She we gotta go im taking Yovanna with me I fell back in love with her mother"
I was hurt this was the man I had fell in love with and had been with for 6 years now. We had planned to get married and spend the rest of our lives together with our children. "What about Ri'annah shes your daughter too and shes only 5 your gonna just up and leave her to huh" I yelled as the tears flowed out of me like a river.
I followed him to her room as he looked down at her playing with her dolls. She got up to kiss his cheek as she said she loved him playing with her dolls again and my heart broke. "Baby girl daddy and sister have to go daddy loves you" She stopped and sat them down this time paying full attention.
"Will you be back" he didn't say anything as I picked her up while we watched them leave.
