Chapter 4 ~ The First Day

I woke up.

I woke up in alarm, I was rethinking about the dream I had.

But then remembered what I saw the night before. A glass door opening to a big balcony...

And Manami standing there... Watching the stars and city. The balcony was pure glass too.

I walked out of my room and stopped in the living room. Looking out at the big window. I turned around, to hear footsteps. Manami was standing next to me. Her blue eyes sparkling which looked a lot different than Ai's who were hazel and blue. She was dressed already. She smiled.

Ai walked out of the room fully dressed too, she even had her backpack on. Her eyes were strangely shinning green...

"Are you ready for our first day?" Manami asked, smiling and seeming to be a lot more comfortable.

"Ha... Manami! He's not even dressed!" Ai added laughing.

I looked at them confused.

"So... You guys already met?" I asked.

"Yeah! We've been best friends in middle school throughout high! We were separated after graduation tho..." Ai explained.

"Come on you got to get ready!" Manami shouted pushing me to my room.

"We're going to be late!" Ai shouted.

I quickly shook off my curiosity and got dressed. It was the school uniform I tried to wear yesterday.

And I guess I had never noticed that my hair had turned red... Because when I looked in the mirror...

"AHHHH!" I screamed.

"WHAT?!" Both of the girls yelled and ran to the bathroom where I was, when I was just checking on my hair.

"Its red!!! My hair is red!?!? When did this happen?!" I shouted in confusion, holding my backpack.

"Ohh... It was like that yesterday... Mamoru... What was it before?" Ai asked.

"It was a dirty blonde... How did it turn red..." I sighed. Manami had a worried look in her eyes.

"Come on Mamoru we're going to be late..." Manami pushed grabbing onto my arm and leading all of us to the door.
