~{Shino X Reader}~ I'm so glad I met you~

~{Chapter 5}~

   ~{Y/N} POV~

    You wake up again for the third day, mission day, because of a breeze that lingered. You yawned and sat up, realizing you were wearing your clothes from yesterday. Ew.

     You were about to get up when suddenly a muffled good morning was heard from the other room. You then immediately looked at your window and saw it open. No wonder you woke up to a breeze.. Suddenly your room door opened and Shino emerged.

     "Knew it," you smiled as he walked over to you.

   He put a hand on your chin making you look at him and kissed you gently, "Sorry for not closing the window.." he apologized a bit guilty.

    "It's fine," you shrugged, "I gotta get up anyway, mission is today,"

    "That is correct.." he huffed, "I'll leave you be then.. meet you half way towards the gate," he said as he pat your head then walk out your room.

    You couldn't help but watch him go. You can tell he didn't wanna do this mission. He just wanted to be with you.

    You smiled and began to get ready to meet your team at the gate.

    As you stepped outside you noticed Naruto running towards you. "Huh?" You looked at him and he stopped in front of you.

    "I- heard you were- Shino's girlfriend!" He said between every breathe.

    You blushed, "W-Who told you that?!" You were curious to hear this.

    "Kiba!" He stood up straight with a big smile on his face.

    You felt annoyance begin to build up inside you.

    "He did huh...?" You said in a low voice. You noticed Shino's bug on your shoulder. Guess he's curious.

    Naruto nodded. "It's hard to believe Shino would actually get a girlfriend! I'm happy for him after all!!" He gave you two thumbs up. "Make him happy alright?!"

    You nodded and waved goodbye as he began to jog off again. Once you knew he was gone you groaned. It's not that you hated the title "Shino's Girlfriend", but it was a thing that well- you and Shino haven't really.. talked about that. You just huffed.

    You continued to walk to the gate, meeting Shino half way. He was just standing there a bit.

   Shino looked up, showing a hint of happiness seeing your face. He jogged up to you and immediately grabbed your hand as you walked, him walking along side you as well.

    Eventually reaching the gate you glared at Kiba, and he knew why but you both just kept quiet, not saying a word.

     Shino and you just sit down together. He was hugging you and you were sitting between his legs as he did.

    "Are we..?" Shino asked, a bit hesitant.

    You looked at him, then looked down, thinking, "I don't know... It's just, we never talked about it," you felt his hand hold yours.

    "Then let's talk about it," he looked down at you and you looked back up at him.

    You smiled, "Well, Shino, will you be my boyfriend?"

    He nodded and squeezed your hand. "{Y/N}, will you be my girlfriend?"

    You nodded and he placed his head upon the top of  yours.

    "I hate it when you keep one of your bugs to spy on me..." You smirked.

    "I hate it when you judge my way of protecting you." He replied back.

    You rolled your eyes.

    "So it's official?" You wanted to make sure.

    "Mhm," he nodded and shoved his hands into his pockets as the both of you began to stand up.

    You smiled and looked at Kiba and Hinata staring. You glared at them and they both turned around. You just shook your head and noticed Kurenai-sensei walking towards us.

    "Good morning team," she smiles and looks at us, "everyone ready to go?"

    Everyone nodded and we began to head out.

    "We are heading towards the scene of the attack, once we find a lead we follow it. And once we find where the inventor is being held, we head straight back to the Hidden Leaf Village and report to the Hokage. Got it?"

    "Yes Sensei!" Everyone said in unison.

    Hinata kept bothering you about Shino and you couldn't help but smile when she did. You've changed ever since you joined this team. You got a best friend, a frenemy, and a love.

    You loved everyone in your team, especially Shino.
