My alarm went off on my phone from the floor. I groaned before rolling over to the side of the bed and picking it up. After unlocking my phone my heart sank as I looked at the time.
6:10 am
"Fuck!" I half yell as I quickly hurried off my bed.
I'm currently twenty minutes late waking up and the bus comes in ten. I ran to my black bag that sat in the wooden chair in the corner. After dumping out the remains onto the floor I threw on a random black sweatshirt over the shirt I slept in. I pulled on some ripped skinny jeans which ran chills up my back from the cold material. I grabbed my black vans and slipped them on without tying them. I picked up my new backpack that Mrs.Laura brought in for me this morning and shoved the new notebooks inside.
I grabbed my phone, charger and earbuds off my bed before checking the time.
6:17 am
"Shit shit shit" I cursed to myself and run down the steps of my house.
"Its fine I've got it under control" I lied to myself, rushing out the door. I pulled my earbuds out of my jacket and put them in as I hurried down the street. As I turned the corner I saw the bus pull up to the stop and I ran the rest of the way. I undoubtedly looked like a loser running for the bus but I didn't care what they thought. I followed the other students onto the big bus and slowly looked around for an empty seat. Through a miracle I glanced upon an empty seat in the front. I took a seat quickly and slidup to the window. The sunrise started to become visible and put a smile on my face.
Maybe today wouldn't be horrid afterall.
