"Oh hell no!" Jennifer yelled at the top of her lungs, when she saw Marlon Lachowski getting a little too close to her best friend. Inanna turned to see her best friend looking at them, horrified. She then tried to push Marlon away, but Marlon's grip on her waist only got tighter.

"For fuck sake, leave us alone." Marlon shouted at Jennifer, he was beyond annoyed with her. He then turn his attention back to Inanna. He couldn't help but notice how affected she was by his touch. And he definitely loved it.

"Listen Lachowski, I swear to god, leave my best friend or else." Jennifer tried looking around for an object to throw at him. Nothing came to her sight. An idea occurred to her. She quickly ran to the kitchen, and got her favourite frying pan. She was going to regret destroying her favourite frying pan but it was all worth it. Inanna was worth it.

"I got my favourite frying pan and I'm not afraid to use it, Lachowski." Jennifer threatened. She had been so busy in coming up with a plan to stop Marlon Lachowski from hurting Inanna, she was completely oblivious to the man, who couldn't take his eyes off her.

When David first agreed to accompany his best friend to meet his girl, he wasn't expecting at all to meet another firecracker. From the minute Jennifer Montez entered the living room with her bugs bunny pyjamas, and her exaggerated reaction to Marlon and Inanna, he couldn't take his eyes off her.

Her tall and slender body frame were like a Victoria Secret Model. Her hazel eyes were mesmerising. Her long wavy black hair looked so smooth and silky. She was definitely a work of art, he thought. He also couldn't help but laugh at her adorable antics. It does take a lot of guts to threaten the most powerful man in the country with her favourite frying pan.

"David, take bugs bunny away!" Marlon yelled, as he rolled his eyes at Jennifer. Inanna immediately slapped his chest. "Do not be rude to Jen." she warned. Usually, if anyone would have hit Marlon, he would have made sure the person would have faced some serious consequence, but when Inanna did it, he didn't mind at all.

"Fine. I'll stop being rude to bugs bunny." he relented, Marlon then turned to look at Inanna. "You know even if you had asked for my life, I would have even given that to you." He whispered. Inanna's eyes widened in shock. There was just something about him. She knew that she was supposed to be afraid of Marlon Lachowski, but her heart was telling her, he isn't that bad.

Jennifer dropped her frying pan and immediately turned around when she sense a presence behind her. She was greeted by an extremely good looking man. He had ocean-like eyes, a sharp jaw and angular cheekbones. He was muscular and a few inches taller than she was. Even though he was just wearing a plain white shirt and black pants, it looked like he had just came back from a photo shoot for Vogue. Damn, the man is fine as hell, she thought.

Hold up, she then snapped out of her thoughts. She recognised that this was a trap. She was so sure Lachowski had purposely gotten the most good looking man on his team to distract her, so he could get to Inanna. She wasn't going to let that happen.

"Listen here, whoever you are, I'm not going to just stand here while you and your moronic friend, M---" Before she could have even completed her sentence, David had threw her over his right shoulder and carried her outside of the apartment. "I'll handle her." David yelled before leaving.

"Handle? What do you mean handle? Please just let her go, Jennifer didn't do anything wrong. I can't afford to lose another loved one, please." She pleaded as tears welled up in her eyes. When Marlon saw the tears that were rolling down Inanna's cheeks, he felt like someone ripped his heart into pieces. He immediately pulled her into a hug.

"You're not going to lose a loved one ever again. I promise. Please don't cry, babygirl." he whispered, as he squeezed her tightly. Both of them found solace in the hug they shared. It was becoming clear to Inanna, that Marlon Lachowski didn't want his gun, he wanted her.
